Scumbag Louis Farrakhan Threatens To Tear The Country Apart Over Ferguson

Posted on 13:26 by Vicky daru
Louis Farrakhan has crawled out from under the rock he shares with the other Slugs to share his thoughts about Ferguson, Mo. Speaking at Morgan State University, a predominantly black college located in Baltimore, Maryland, Farrakhan called for more violence from the nations black community.

The Daily Caller reported Farrakhan said the violence in Ferguson was justified because of the the grand jury decision to not indict Officer Wilson. The hate-monger Farrakhan asserted that peace is only in the interest of ‘white folks,'adding, “We going to die anyway. Let’s die for something!”
He said, “As long as they [whites] kill us [blacks] and go to Wendy’s and have a burger and go to sleep, they’ll keep killing us. But when we die and they die, then soon we’re going to sit at a table and talk about it! We’re tired! We want some of this earth or we’ll tear this goddamn country up!”
As he continued with his violent, racist rant, Farrakhan was critical of Obama and Holder stating that violence is not the answer. In response he called for parents to teach their children how to throw Molotov cocktails and demonstrated himself how to do so.

'F**k It, I Quit' Reporter Accused of Violating Election Laws

Posted on 15:07 by Vicky daru

Alaska officials are trying to determine whether Anchorage marijuana activist Charlo Greene violated campaign finance laws.  Back in September, Greene was a reporter for KTVA in Anchorage reported about the Alaska Cannabis Club a medical marijuana facility which was beginning a campaign in support of the upcoming state vote to legalize recreational marijuana. When the report ended Greene identified herself on air as the Cannabis Club's owner, and that she would she would be devoting all her future energy to fighting for "freedom and fairness," added "f**k it, I quit" and walked off-camera.

That energy may have caused Greene some legal problems.
After more than a month of back and forth with Greene, the Alaska Public Offices Commission (APOC) will hold a hearing next week to review whether it has the authority to subpoena Greene for records related to fundraising for the Alaska Cannabis Club.
According to agenda documents released by APOC, in order to better understand whether Greene was in compliance with campaign disclosure laws, the commission asked Greene in early October to produce documents related to her IndieGogo fundraising campaign. That campaign netted the Cannabis Club with over $8,400 in donations.

Alaska law requires all entities advocating for candidates or campaigns to register with the commission. All donations and expenditures related to campaign activities must be submitted to the commission.
While Greene registered her group with the commission on Oct. 2, filing a handful of independent expenditures, she then stopped and began challenging the agency’s jurisdiction over her fundraising efforts.
In an interview Thursday, Greene contended that she filed with the organization to comply with finance disclosure laws for the small amount of advocating she did do for the marijuana effort. But, she says, the IndieGogo campaign should not be subject to APOC reporting requirements because it was fundraising for her organization, not the ballot measure.
According to Greene she didn't even receive the funds from the IndieGogo account until three weeks after the fundraising effort ended -- about one week before the election.
"I had nothing to do with the campaign (for Ballot Measure 2)," she said. "(APOC) is saying the IndieGogo was formed for the ballot measure, and it wasn’t. It was formed for our freedom and fairness fight, which didn’t end on Nov. 4 because marijuana is still not legal across the entire nation."
If she is indicted I wonder if she tells the Judge to "F**k It."

Court Documents Reveal Cosby Cut Deal W/ National Enquirer To Stop Publishing of Rape Story

Posted on 11:28 by Vicky daru
Another brick in the wall of denial surrounding Bill Cosby and his alleged rape victims has fallen. The Christian Science Monitor is reporting that Bill Cosby testified under oath in 2005 that he gave the National Enquirer an exclusive interview about looming sexual-assault accusations by a Canadian woman against him in exchange for the tabloid spiking a second accuser's story.

Excerpts released Wednesday of Cosby's deposition from a civil lawsuit filed by Andrea Constand quote Cosby as saying he feared the public would believe her sexual-assault accusations if the Enquirer published similar claims by Beth Ferrier. Both women accused Cosby of drugging and molesting them.
"Did you ever think that if Beth Ferrier's story was printed in the National Enquirer, that that would make the public believe that maybe Andrea was also telling the truth?" Cosby was asked.

"Exactly," Cosby replied, according to court motions initially filed under seal and made available from archived federal court records.

Cosby, in the deposition, said he had a contract with the Enquirer.

"I would give them an exclusive story, my words," Cosby said in the Sept. 29, 2005, deposition. In return, "they would not print the story of — print Beth's story."
Beth Ferrier
Apparently the Enquirer gave Cosby a draft copy of their interview with Ms Ferrier's with the Enquirer told him that she had passed a lie detector test.

Constand later sued Cosby and the Enquirer, alleging defamation. The claims were consolidated with her sexual-assault lawsuit against Cosby and were settled.

A representative for American Media, Inc., which owns the National Enquirer, said in an emailed statement Wednesday that the Enquirer was "unflinching" in its coverage of the allegations against Cosby.

"We continue to remain aggressive in our reporting today and stand by the integrity of our coverage of this story which we have taken the lead on for more than a decade," the representative said.
Cosby had said at his deposition that Constand and her mother asked only for an apology in early phone calls about the issue in January 2005, and he said they received one.  "Andrea's mother said, 'That's all I wanted, Bill,'" Cosby testified.

Constand's lawyers argued in their defamation suit: "Requesting only an apology is not the action of an extortionist or someone who wants to 'exploit' a celebrity."

They said that Cosby later called back and offered to pay for Constand's "education."

Constand had met Cosby through her job with the women's basketball team at Temple University in Philadelphia, and she said he sexually assaulted her at his nearby home in 2004. She quit the job and moved home that year, and she first filed a report with Ontario police on Jan. 13, 2005, and filed a federal civil suit that March. After prosecutors near Philadelphia decided not to file criminal charges, several other women came forward to support Constand's claims, including Ferrier.
Constand's  filed a civil lawsuit which eventually grew to include eight more women willing to testify about allegations of sexual assaults involving Cosby, the count is now up to 19 women claiming being assaulted by the comedian.

Queen Hillary Demanded "Royal Treatment" For Her $300K UCLA Speech

Posted on 10:38 by Vicky daru

It was like a scene out of "The Princess and the Pea," only this was real life. Along with her $300,000 fee for her speech at UCLA , Hillary Clinton had a list of demands, one of which was "that the chairs be outfitted with two long, rectangular pillows — and that two cushions be kept backstage in case the chair was too deep and she needed additional back support."

Through a Freedom of Information Act request the Washington Post received the emails exchanged between UCLA and Clinton's people as they were preparing for her March 5, 2014 speech at the school.
The documents show that Clinton’s representatives at the Harry Walker Agency exerted considerable control over her appearance and managed even the smallest details — from requesting lemon wedges and water on stage to a computer, scanner, and a spread of hummus and crudité in the green room backstage.
When the University reminded Clinton's people that UCLA was a public school and asked for a reduction of the $300,000, the presumptive Democratic Party candidate's staff responded that $300,000 is the “special university rate.” The fee went to the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton foundation.
It is commonplace for celebrity speakers to request special accommodations — and Clinton was no exception. Her representatives asked for a case of still water, room temperature, to be deposited stage right. They also asked that “a carafe of warm/hot water, coffee cup and saucer, pitcher of room temperature water, water glass, and lemon wedges” be situated both on a table on stage as well as in another room where Clinton would stand for photos with VIPs.

For the green room, Clinton’s representatives requested: “Coffee, tea, room temp sparkling and still water, diet ginger ale, crudité, hummus and sliced fruit.” They also asked for a computer, mouse and printer, as well as a scanner, which the university had to purchase for the occasion.
Clinton's team even micro-managed the way Clinton was to receive the UCLA Medal during her visit to the campus. The team asked that it be presented to her in a box rather than draped around her neck. Perhaps she did not want to direct her attention to her neck.
By contract, Clinton’s approval was needed for any promotional materials. Clinton gave permission for the university to record the event, but “for archival purposes only.” For public distribution, Clinton’s speaking agency approved only a two-minute highlight video to upload to YouTube. “Please make sure it is available only for one (1) year from the date of posting,” a Harry Walker Agency official added" [presumingly this was done incase she made a gaffe during her appearance].
Her staff even regulated the number of pictures she would stand for--not the number of people who she would take pictures with, but the number of times the camera could be clicked there were "do overs."
“We get a total of 50 clicks,” one university official explained — as well as two group photos. Lippert wrote to colleagues that Clinton’s representatives wanted the group shots “prestaged,” with participants assembled and ready to take the photographs before Clinton arrived “so the secretary isn’t waiting for these folks to get their act together.”
During her book tour in June, Clinton caused an uproar when she told ABC's Diane Sawyer when she and Bill left the White House they were dead broke. It demonstrated a lack of compassion and understanding for those who are really impoverished. When that faux pas is added to other details, like her exorbitant speaking fees and list of royal of demands, it makes one wonder if she will be able to carry the populist message the progressive Democrats demand.

Happy Thanksgiving From President Lincoln

Posted on 19:24 by Vicky daru
Following the end of the Battle of Gettysburg, President Lincoln proclaimed a day of Thanksgiving and later that year proclaimed another day of thanks which is now celebrated annually the fourth Thursday in November. Along with that proclamation, Lincoln made the following address, widely known as Abraham Lincoln’s 1863 Thanksgiving Proclamation:

The year that is drawing towards its close, has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature, that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever watchful providence of Almighty God. In the midst of a civil war of unequalled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign States to invite and to provoke their aggression, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere except in the theatre of military conflict; while that theatre has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union. Needful diversions of wealth and of strength from the fields of peaceful industry to the national defence, have not arrested the plough, the shuttle, or the ship; the axe had enlarged the borders of our settlements, and the mines, as well of iron and coal as of the precious metals, have yielded even more abundantly than heretofore. Population has steadily increased, notwithstanding the waste that has been made in the camp, the siege and the battle-field; and the country, rejoicing in the consciousness of augmented strength and vigor, is permitted to expect continuance of years, with large increase of freedom.

No human counsel hath devised nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy.

It has seemed to me fit and proper that they should be solemnly, reverently and gratefully acknowledged as with one heart and voice by the whole American people. I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens. And I recommend to them that while offering up the ascriptions justly due to Him for such singular deliverances and blessings, they do also, with humble penitence for our national perverseness and disobedience, commend to his tender care all those who have become widows, orphans, mourners or sufferers in the lamentable civil strife in which we are unavoidably engaged, and fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty Hand to heal the wounds of the nation and to restore it as soon as may be consistent with the Divine purposes to the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquility and Union.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, and caused the seal of the United States to be affixed.

Done at the city of Washington, this third day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, and of the independence of the United States the eighty-eighth

President Lincoln did not start off his proclamation by focusing on the problems of the day, instead he gave thanks to God for what the country had — the proper order of prayer.

Leaked: SJP Plans Illegal Activity Against Jewish Students And Israel

Posted on 07:17 by Vicky daru

Guest Post by Tammi Rossman-Benjamin -Cross posted from the Times of Israel

A recently uncovered internal document of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at Binghamton University SUNY sheds new light on the anti-Semitic bigotry of SJP groups across the country, as well as SJP’s ties to international campaigns to harm the Jewish state and the Jewish people.

Entitled “Declaration of Principles and Strategies,” the document specifically outlines strategies for targeting, ostracizing, harassing, and silencing students on campus who oppose the boycott of Israel or who simply attend a pro-Israel event. In a lengthy section on “Tactics and Strategies Used to Counter Zionist Normalization,” the document gives detailed instructions for when and how to disrupt “Zionist” events and activities on campus. Disrupting an event is a direct violation of others’ right to freedom of expression and assembly, and a blatant violation of New York law.

The internal Binghamton-SJP Declaration is a window into “anti-Zionist normalization” campaigns being waged by SJP groups across the country, whose explicit purpose is to delegitimize all pro-Israel perspectives and actively suppress their expression on college campuses. These campaigns have resulted in dozens of Jewish and pro-Israel students’ events being disrupted, and Jewish and pro-Israel students feeling harassed, intimidated, and stripped of their constitutionally-protected freedom of expression and association. For example:

• Feb 27, 2012 at University of California Davis, SJP and other groups staged a planned disruption of a Jewish student event consisting of two Israelis –a Jewish man and a Druze woman. In a video taken at a meeting of SJP, MSA and MeChA students preparing to disrupt the Jewish student event, the leader of the protesters said, “Events like these are not welcome on our campus anymore,” and his statement was met with a large round of cheers and applause. During the Jewish student event, protestors staged a walk-out along with verbal assaults shouted at the speaker, such as, “How many women have you raped? How many children have you raped? You are a child molester,” and claiming that Israel has “turned the land of Palestine into a land of prostitutes and rapists and child molesters.” One of the hecklers admitted, “My only purpose here today is that this event be shut down.”

• On March 12th, 2013 at DePaul University, SJP members and other protesters disrupted a talk by Assistant U.S. Attorney Barry Jonas sponsored by Center for Jewish Law & Judaic Studies. Angry that Jonas had helped to shut down organizations which had raised money for the terrorist group Hamas, DePaul SJP members hurled verbal insults at the speaker, such as chants of “Hey DePaul, let’s be clear — racists are not welcome here,” and heckled the audience with questions about how the university could have allowed such an Islamophobic and racist event to take place. As a result of the disruptions, the event was ended early.

• On September 9, 2014 at Loyola University-Chicago, SJP members verbally assaulted their Jewish peers, yelling insults at them and created a human wall to block Hillel members’ from sharing information with fellow students about Birthright trips to Israel.

Make no mistake about it. SJP’s BDS and “anti-Zionist normalization” campaigns are a front for the larger international coordinated effort to demonize, delegitimize, and ultimately destroy the Jewish state, an effort which has been spearheaded by the Palestinian BDS National Committee, whose member organizations include the terrorist groups Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Having launched the “Palestinian Call for BDS” in 2005, the Committee’s mission has been to coordinate global BDS efforts and to be the “reference point” for “anti-normalization campaigns” intended to ensure the delegitimization and silencing of any individual or group that accepts the legitimacy of the Jewish state.

The “Palestinian Call for BDS” was formally adopted as a “point of unity” at the first National SJP Conference in 2011, and virtually every SJP chapter in the country has responded to the Palestinian Call by establishing the promotion of BDS as an essential part of their group’s mission. In addition, the National SJP Conference at Tufts University last month boasted a workshop on “Countering Normalization of Israeli Oppression on Campus,” and many chapters, such as the SJP group at Binghamton University, have incorporated the Palestinian BDS National Committee’s “anti-normalization” tactics into their own rejection of Jewish and pro-Israel student groups and their events. To all of us monitoring this closely, it is crystal clear what is really happening: SJP students are serving as the foot soldiers for the Palestinian BDS National Committee’s campaign to destroy the Jewish state.

The Palestinian BDS National Committee has actively cultivated student allies on U.S. campuses and has found a willing partner in SJP, with one Committee member group crowing: “Internationally, we are heartened by the increased coordination and growth of Students for Justice in Palestine on campuses across the United States.”

It is understandable why the Palestinian BDS National Committee would be delighted that SJP is establishing a beachhead for promoting the Committee’s own BDS and “anti-normalization” campaigns on U.S. campuses. What is more difficult to understand is why university administrators would allow a group like SJP to become an officially recognized and funded student organization.

Enough of The Silly Scapegoating, Here's The REAL Cause Of The FergusonViolence

Posted on 04:36 by Vicky daru
Since parts of Ferguson, Mo. were destroyed on Monday night after D.A. Robert McCulloch read the grand jury results, pundits and politicians have been looking to place the blame for the violence. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) blamed politicians, MSNBC's Melissa Harris Perry blamed Obama (and said he should be proud about it), a crowd of protesters in Seattle blamed the Jews (they lose points for lack of originality), and CNN's Don Lemon blamed bloggers:
Most of that outrage is coming from the Internet and social media. When you actually come here on the ground and the people who are actual protesters and who are upset, most of them peaceful. They have a beef and they are being peaceful about it. And they aren’t the people who are out there causing the commotion every day. It is a lot of the times here bloggers and people who are trying to make a name for themselves.
Having spent at least seven or eight minutes tuned my thoughts upon this crucial topic and weighed each placement of blame by the politicians and pundits, I have reluctantly arrived at the conclusion that they are grossly mistaken in their rationale. The violence in Ferguson cannot be blamed on the President since there were few if any illegal immigrants involved. Politicians were too busy placing blame to accept it, Jews can't be blamed because... well...they can't be blamed for everything, and bloggers...well how can anyone believe a newsman who asked a rape victim why she didn't bite down when she was forced to give oral sex? No the entire lot of the names offered up as the cause of Ferguson violence need to be tossed out because they are all ridiculous.

Being that it is so close to the Thanksgiving holiday, and most of those placing blame need to take Thursday off, I do therefore humbly offer up some scapegoat suggestions which are much superior in logic to those offered so far.

To those who seek to place blame any of the following can be used at no cost so you can enjoy your holiday tomorrow.
  • George H.W. Bush, progressives and liberals love to blame everything on Bush 43 but honestly its getting stale. That's why I offer his father. The bonus here is that like his son Bush 41 has shown nothing but class since he left office and will not publicly fight back when singled out for unfair blame.
  • New Amsterdam Citron Vodka- Until it was displayed Monday evening on Fox as a looted item, many people had never heard of the New Amsterdam Brand. Perhaps they incited the violence to get the free TV advertising.

  •  Chuck Hagel- The Secretary of Defense was pushed out on Monday morning the riots were Monday evening. Coincidence? Perhaps not.
  • The Israeli Settlements in Jerusalem: President Obama, the EU and the UN have all found ways to justify Palestinian acts of terrorism by blaming it on Jews moving into East Jerusalem. If Jews moving into East Jerusalem can cause violence there, why not causing it in Ferguson?
  • The Koch Brothers-It would be economical to blame them, Harry Reid could recycle his unsuccessful political ads.
    • The GOP. The president and his liberal buddies have blamed everything from unemployment to hurricane sandy on the Republicans so it should come naturally to blame the Ferguson riots on the GOP. Wait! Scratch that!  Ridiculously connecting Republicans to suffering didn't work in for the midterms it probably won't work now.
    • The Washington Redskins- They have a racist name and are benching an African-American Quarterback: No Justice for RGIII, no peace.
      • Global Warming- Heck if people can blame things like the Sinking of The Titanic, Illegal Immigration, ISIS, and a Walrus "Convention" on global warming, why not this?
I can think of no one objection to any of the above suggestions that would make them any less ridiculous than blaming the President, politicians, Jews or bloggers. Anybody who is looking for a good scapegoat before they leave on their Thanksgiving holiday should choose any of my suggestions so they have enough time to enjoy turkey and football tomorrow.

Now I understand some of you may want to blame the Ferguson violence and looting on unruly idiots, who have little regard for the memory of Michael Brown, race relations, or Ferguson, Mo.  You might see the pictures of people in masks, shooting guns, setting buildings on fire and believe them to be evil miscreants rioting and looting just for fun, they were simply taking advantage of an already tense situation for their own selfish reason.  While that would be true, no one would believe that idea. In the day and half since the violence began, politicians and pundits have been placing the blame everywhere except on those miscreants who were doing the selfish deeds. Obviously if they thought people would believe the truth they would throw the blame that way.

Michèle Flournoy Doesn't Want To Be Obama's Sec of Defense Either. (Does Colin Powell?)

Posted on 15:34 by Vicky daru
Michèle Flournoy considered the most likely candidate to replace Chuck Hagel as the next secretary of defense, sent Obama a letter saying thanks but no thanks, complicating what will be already one of the most controversial cabinet selections of his second term.

Foreign Policy is reporting that Flournoy, the co-founder and CEO of the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) sent a letter Tuesday to members of the CNAS board of directors, Flournoy said she would remain in her post at the think tank and asked Obama to take her out of consideration to be the next secretary of defense. Flournoy told the board members that family health considerations helped drive her decision and the fact that two of her children are leaving for college in the next two years.
"Last night I spoke with President Obama and removed myself from consideration due to family concerns," reads the letter. "After much agonizing, we decided that now was not the right time for me to reenter government. The good news is that you all are stuck with me for the indefinite future!"

The move means that only one of the three names rumored for the post remains under consideration: Ashton Carter, the former deputy secretary of defense. When Hagel was ousted Monday, speculation had immediately turned to Flournoy, Carter, and Democratic Sen. Jack Reed of Rhode Island, a former Army Ranger. But Reed took himself out of the running almost immediately after Hagel announced his resignation.
Beyond Hagel, the White House may now to look to Hagel deputy Robert Work and Rep. Adam Smith, a Democrat from Washington.
Fox is reporting that former Republican and Bush Administration Secretary of State Colin Powell may be in the running.

After that who knows, perhaps he could turn to his old friend Bill Ayers (we know he is good with bombs).

Muslim Preacher At Al-Aqsa Mosque: May Allah Annihilate America And Its Coalition

Posted on 13:11 by Vicky daru
Anti-Israel incitement isn't the only hate-mongering going on atop the Temple Mount. In an impromptu sermon at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestinian preacher Ali Abu Ahmad called upon Allah to annihilate America and its coalition, intoning, "Oh Allah, eliminate America and its coalition. Oh Allah, enable us to cut off their heads. Oh Allah help our brothers, the mujahideen in the land of Iraq and Syria." Abu Ahmad stated:
Who will come to the aid of Islam if not us? Who will come to the aid of Jerusalem if not us? Who will come to the aid of the caliphate if not us, oh servants of Allah? Do you want America to bring you a caliphate based on its own interests?

Such a caliphate would sanction the killing of Muslims, would shed their blood, and would violate the honor of their women, in the name of Islam.

Absolutely not, oh servants of Islam. We want a caliphate in the path of the prophet, which will protect lives and defend women honor, and will liberate Jerusalem from the Jews, the most vile of creatures.

Oh servants of Allah, do not resort to the international community. Do not resort to the international institutions or the Security Council, for they are the ones who brought the Jews to the land of Palestine. They share the blame for their barbaric crimes against the Muslims in Palestine.

Seek refuge in Allah the Almighty, the Avenger.

Only Allah can break the backs of America and the Jews, as he did to Pharaoh and Nimrod.

Do not be deluded by the arrogance of the Jews, or their crimes against the Muslims of Palestine. This is merely a prelude to their elimination, Allah willing, at the hands of the loyal mujahideen within Palestine and abroad.

Oh Allah, eliminate America and its coalition. Oh Allah, enable us to cut off their heads. Oh Allah help our brothers, the mujahideen in the land of Iraq and Syria.
And they call this the religion of peace.

NATO Partner Turkey's Pres.'Equality Between Men And Women Is Against Nature'

Posted on 09:13 by Vicky daru
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, one of our NATO partners and a favorite of President Obama's announced his belief that equality between men and women is “against nature” at a summit in Istanbul. Even worse he made the declaration at a convention organized by women’s groups campaigning to eliminate gender discrimination in all its forms.
"You cannot make women and men equal; this is against nature,” Erdoğan told the meeting full of women (including his own daughter). "You cannot subject a pregnant woman to the same working conditions as a man. You cannot make a mother who has to breastfeed her child equal to a man. You cannot make women do everything men do like the communist regimes did…this is against her delicate nature.”
I wonder if he says that in meetings with German Chancellor Angela Merkel?
Instead of equality, he recommended what he called “equivalency”, the Hurriyet Daily News reported.

“Equality is turning the victim into an oppressor by force or vice versa,” the President said. “What women need is to be able to be equivalent, rather than equal.”
Speakers at the two-day event were due to include the UN’s regional director for women, global rights activists, academics, journalists and businesswomen.

One participant who attempted to ask a question during a speech by Turkey's family and social policies minister, Ayşenur Islam, was allegedly taken out of the hall by security guards, who covered her mouth.

Mr Erdogan has been criticised for his recent statements declaring that every Turkish women should have three children and proposing to limit abortion rights, access to the morning-after pill and caesarean sections.
Erdoğan's opinions on women's rights are shared by members of his party. In July one of Erdoğan's senior party officials said women should not laugh loudly in public.
"A man should be moral but women should be moral as well, they should know what is decent and what is not decent," Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc, one of the co-founders of the ruling Islamic-rooted Justice and Development Party (AKP), said in a speech. "She should not laugh loudly in front of all the world and should preserve her decency at all times."
Until recently Turkey was a modern, secular democracy the proof that a Muslim nation could exist in the 21st century. Since Erdogan and his party took over Turkey has been heading back to the stone age, eliminating many of its secular reforms and moving the country toward a Muslim theocracy. And the further Erdogan pushes his country away from "western values" the more he is pursued by President Obama. Perhaps Obama should scold his buddy about the treatment of women.

The Ferguson Grand Jury Deserves Our Thanks, They Pursued Justice

Posted on 04:02 by Vicky daru

Anybody who has ever seen "Law and Order" or "Discovery ID" know that when a judge empanels a jury they are instructed not to read the paper or watch the TV coverage of their case.  In the case of the Ferguson announcement made yesterday, it wasn't a regular jury it was  a grand jury.  This panel met once a week and returned to their lives in between, and knew exactly what was going on in their community.

This grand jury lived in and near Ferguson, they dealt with the stench of violence in August, they knew their decision would most probably light the fuse of violence again-- only this time it would be much worse.

This group of 12 people stood however, as a wall of justice in front of the lynch mob demanding that Officer Wilson be strung up whether or not he was criminally responsible in the shooting of the Michael Brown. They sought justice knowing that this was a case of whether a Officer Wilson was justified in shooting his gun resulting in the horrible and tragic death of Michael Brown, while the racial agitators and the media saw the case as a white police officer targeting killing the unarmed young black man who stood on the other side of the policeman's gun.

This was the ultimate post-racial grand jury. Instead on focusing on the racial hatred injected into this tragedy by the agitators and talking heads looking for fame and a buck, this grand jury took its own sweet time focusing on all the evidence instead of racial rhetoric.

Anybody with half a heart understood that Michael Brown should not have died--nobody-- especially a child, a teenager should die so young.  No parents should go through what the Browns are going through with the death of a child, but the heartbreak surrounding the death of Michael Brown has little bearing on the grand juror's job.

These jurors studied the evidence and applied the law to the conduct of the cop, as to whether he acted reasonably and lawfully in the circumstances he encountered Brown. They ignored the TV reports which decided Officer Wilson was guilty of a crime despite their limited access to the evidence.

The grand jury put the heartbreak aside and; they did the right thing.

The St. Louis grand jury says there was not sufficient evidence to charge Wilson with breaking Missouri criminal law. The racial agitators and the mainstream media may not understand or accept the decision. But that's not the grand jury's problem.  Darren Wilson was not charged because that is the American way; we do not consider the sentiment of the community, agitators or the media to charge a man when the evidence proves his actions were justified, nor do we consider it to set free a man when the evidence shows he committed a crime. We only use evidence. This grand jury used nothing but evidence and deserves our thanks.

This grand jury followed the instructions written in Deuteronomy chapter 16, verses 18-20
You shall set up judges and law enforcement officials for yourself in all your cities that the Lord, your God, is giving you, for your tribes, and they shall judge the people [with] righteous judgment.

You shall not judge unfairly: you shall show no partiality; you shall not take bribes, for bribes blind the eyes of the discerning and upset the plea of the just. Justice, justice shall you pursue

      No Officer Wilson Indictment

Posted on 18:10 by Vicky daru
      From USA Today

-- A white police officer will not face charges for fatally shooting an unarmed black teenager in a case that set off violent protests and racial unrest throughout the nation, an attorney close to the case said Monday night.

A St. Louis County grand jury declined to indict officer Darren Wilson, 28, for firing six shots in an August confrontation that killed 18-year-old Michael Brown, said Benjamin Crump, an attorney for the family. The decision had been long awaited and followed rioting that resembled war-zone news footage in this predominantly black suburb of St. Louis.

D.A. Robert McCulloh just announced there would be no indictment. McCulloch said the jury had exhaustively examined the evidence.

Mr Brown's family said they were "profoundly disappointed".

As protesters flooded the streets of Ferguson, Mo., a grand jury in St. Louis County tonight announced veteran Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson would not be charged in the shooting death of Michael Brown, 18.

The decision comes after months of consideration from the 12-person panel in the case that sparked violent protests and riots in the town of 21,000. The grand jury deliberated over two days and heard testimony from 60 witnesses.

Congressional Black Caucus Chair Marcia L. Fudge called the decision a "miscarriage of justice" and "slap in the face to Americans nationwide who continue to hope and believe that justice will prevail."

"This decision seems to underscore an unwritten rule that black lives hold no value; that you may kill black men in this country without consequences or repercussions," she said in a statement.

If Fudge feels slapped she was slapped by Justice

The Questions The Media Should Have Asked Al Sharpton At The Press Conference

Posted on 17:27 by Vicky daru
There he was, Al Sharpton taking center stage in the Michael Brown Junior press conference.  Sadly the reporters all respected him as a advocate for human rights.  Sadly not one of them asked him a question about his human rights qualifications...no one asked Sharpton about the Antisemitism and other hatred he has spewed.

Like the funeral in 1991 where Al Sharpton gave a powerful eulogy, which skewed hatred and Antisemitism:
“The world will tell us he was killed by accident. Yes, it was a social accident. ... It's an accident to allow an apartheid ambulance service in the middle of Crown Heights. ... Talk about how Oppenheimer in South Africa sends diamonds straight to Tel Aviv and deals with the diamond merchants right here in Crown Heights. The issue is not anti-Semitism; the issue is apartheid. ... All we want to say is what Jesus said: If you offend one of these little ones, you got to pay for it. No compromise, no meetings, no kaffe klatsch, no skinnin' and grinnin'. Pay for your deeds."
Those people in Crown Height should have justice, especially those who were hurt in the violence which according to the sworn testimony of Efraim Lipkind, a former Hasidic resident of Crown Heights:
“Then we had a famous man, Al Sharpton, who came down, and he said Tuesday night, kill the Jews, two times. I heard him, and he started to lead a charge across the street to Utica. ---“
The media should ask Sharpton about when NYC Jews complained about the Antisemitism of Black College professor Leonard Jeffries in 1991, Sharpton called them race baiters adding “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house"--

Perhaps they should ask Sharpton about former NY State AG Robert Abrams, who Sharpton refused to meet with during the Tawana Brawley hoax because meeting Abrams would be “like asking someone who watched someone killed in the gas chamber to sit down with Mr. Hitler.”

Why won't the press ask about Steven Pagones former Assistant District Attorney in Duchess County deserves justice. In 1987 Sharpton accused him of raping Tawana Brawley. Not only was Pagones nowhere near Brawley that night, but also the entire rape story was a fraud.

How about justice for Yosef Lifsh, the driver of the car that tragically struck Gavin Cato in August 1991? Al Sharpton falsely claimed he was driving drunk that night despite that police tested him and he was clean. Al Sharpton incited so much hate against Lifsh that he fled to Israel.

Angelina Marrero, Cynthia Martinez, Luz Ramos, Mayra Rentas , Olga Garcia, Garnette Ramautar, Kareem Brunner, the seven victims of the massacre at Freddy's Fashion Mart never had justice. They are dead because a four-month-long campaign of hate by Al Sharpton led to a man firebombing the clothing store killing the seven innocents. Perhaps one reporter could ask about those seven.

Sharpton should be asked about the "Central Park Jogger" who was raped and beaten to within an inch of her life and her former boyfriend never received justice. Sharpton led rallies where he claimed the "jogger" was raped by her boyfriend and the woman who was raped and beaten to within a hair of death was called a whore.

David Dinkins, the hapless first black mayor of NYC deserves justice. He was angrily denounced by Sharpton using these words, “David Dinkins, you wanna be the only ni**er on television, only ni**er in the newspaper, only ni**er that can talk. Don’t cover them, don’t talk to them, ’cause you got the only ni**er problem. ‘Cause you know if a black man stood up next to you, they would see you for the whore that you really are“  Perhaps the MSNBC star  could be asked about this Black on Black hatred.

Remember the controversy surrounding the Duke lacrosse team? They never received justice when they were falsely accused of rape and without any facts Al Sharpton declared that these ”rich white boys” had attacked a ”black girl,” and he warned that if arrests were not made immediately, there would be no peace. He further claimed, "this case parallels Abner Louima, who was raped and sodomized in a bathroom [by a New York City police officer] like this girl has alleged she was.... and just like in the Louima case, you have people here saying she fabricated it.” It was later proven that indeed she had totally invented the story and all charges against the defendants were dropped." Should this man that some call Reverend be called out for violating the 9th Commandment, "Thou shalt not bear false witness...?"

What about political slanders, the those at the press conference should ask about that hatred.  . For example he once told his radio audience that Republicans view black people as subhumans, much as Adolf Hitler saw Jews. "It seems like they [some of the right wing] act as though some wiping out of people ... is alright. It's not alright to do to any innocent people.... [T]o wipe out innocent people just 'cause of who they are, like was done in Hitler's Germany, or was done to Native Americans, is not justified."

While most of Sharpton’s acts of hate were not criminal they were immoral.  Why won't the press ask him about it? This pseudo preacher has no right to speak out about the Michael Brown case until he answers for the hatred he started.

At Michael Brown's funeral Al Sharpton said "God judges you for what you did on Earth” He’s correct, because in the end it is up to HaShem to dispose final justice. However just once I would like to see the mainstream media pursue justice by asking Sharpton how does he think God will judge him for filling the world with chamas, violence and cruelty?

The mainstream media should be perusing truth and justice about Al Sharpton, indeed we all should. They should be asking the Sharpton to justify his hatred of others. And the rest of us should be pressing the media to ask those tough questions. It’s time for Al Sharpton to be labeled for what he is-- a hater not a healer.

Finally! Phoenix VA Hospital Director Sharon Helman Fired

Posted on 15:24 by Vicky daru

Finally! Almost seven months after she was placed on administrative leave  Sharon Helman, director of the Phoenix VA Health Care System found her ass booted out the door.

The VA Healthcare Scandal began with the news of up to 40 veterans dying while waiting for an appointment.

VA Secretary Robert McDonald said Helman's dismissal underscores the agency's commitment to hold leaders accountable and ensure that veterans have access to high-quality, timely care.
An investigation by the VA's office of inspector general found that workers at the Phoenix VA hospital falsified waiting lists while their supervisors looked the other way or even directed it, resulting in chronic delays for veterans seeking care. At least 40 patients died while awaiting appointments in Phoenix, the report said, but officials could not "conclusively assert" that delays in care caused the deaths.

About 1,700 veterans in need of care were "at risk of being lost or forgotten" after being kept off the official waiting list at the troubled Phoenix hospital, the IG's office said.

"Lack of oversight and misconduct by VA leaders runs counter to our mission of serving veterans, and VA will not tolerate it," McDonald said in a statement late Monday. "We depend on VA employees and leaders to put the needs of veterans first."
Helman is the fifth senior executive fired or forced to resign in recent weeks in response to the wait-time scandal.
She should have been ousted months ago.
Helman, who has worked at the VA since 1990, has been on paid leave since May 1, shortly after a former clinic director at the Phoenix site alleged that up to 40 patients may have died because of delays in care and that the hospital kept a secret list of patients waiting for appointments to hide the treatment delays.

Dr. Samuel Foote, who had worked for the Phoenix VA for more than 20 years before retiring last December, brought the allegations to light and says supervisors ignored his complaints for months.

In an interview with the AP in May, hours before being placed on administrative leave, Helman denied any knowledge of a secret list and said she had found no evidence of patient deaths due to delayed care.
Our veterans who have given their bodies to protect our lives and freedoms deserve the best in healthcare,  thanks to people like Ms. Helman they received the worst. Whether she knew or not she is culpable for the horrible mistreatment in America's heroes.

Hagel Booted--->Sources Say 'Couldn't Handle The Job' (But Was He Scape Goat?)

Posted on 07:06 by Vicky daru
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is stepping down amid criticism of the president’s national security team on a series of global issues, including the threat posed by the militant group known as ISIS.

Senior defense officials confirmed to NBC News Monday that Hagel was forced to resign.
The officials say the White House has lost confidence in Hagel to carry out his role at the Pentagon. According to one senior official, “He wasn’t up to the job.”
On the other hand Hagel may be the scape goat for the failed Obama policies especially related to terrorism , after all the President wasn't going to fire Susan Rice or John Kerry.
McCain on AZ radio, on Hagel: "He was in my office last week. He was very frustrated… believe me, he was up to the job."

Has The Washington Post Ever Heard Of Satire? They Fact-Check SNL

Posted on 05:05 by Vicky daru

The opening skit on Saturday Night Live was a hilarious satire of "School House Rock" teaching the difference between a bill and an executive action, using that framework to poke fun at President Obama's recent immigration action. Forgetting that it was satire, "The Washington Post Wonk Blog" fact-checked the comedy routine.
This skit got a couple of things right, and a couple of things wrong. For starters, Obama didn't sign an executive order. He is taking executive action, in particular by directing the Department of Homeland Security to expand programs that defer deportation for classes of undocumented immigrants — parents of U.S. citizens or permanent-resident children, as well as undocumented immigrants brought to the country as children.

See a handy flow chart to determine who qualifies.

Obama's action on Thursday adds 4 million new eligible immigrants, on top of the 1 million young immigrants who became eligible for deferred deportation under Obama's original 2012 program.

The cold open got the basic explanation of what the difference is between a law and executive order right. And SNL also is correct that more Americans, even if they support comprehensive immigration reform, don't believe Obama should do it by fiat.

As to whether the executive action is unconstitutional? That's a matter of debate, of course. Some House Republicans think so and may add a complaint to a suit they are planning to file challenging Obama's executive actions on his health-care law.

One Obama backer who also supports a comprehensive overhaul of immigration laws says the action may be impeachable, as "by constitutional design, impeachment for 'treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors' is a political accusation."
The piece goes on to go issue by issue disputing the lines in the skit as if they were real political positions rather than laugh lines and concludes with:
And so what matters most for Obama's action is public opinion, and what his successor does. The SNL skit, in that sense, doesn't help him.
Perhaps the WAPO is afraid the sketch will be believed at truth by progressive.  After all it was an SNL parody that put the words, "I can see Russia from my house," in Sarah Palin's mouth--something progressives sill believe the former Governor said. Going back to the show's beginnings, President Ford wasn't anywhere near as clumsy as Chevy Chase portrayed him as being.  The history of SNL is ripe with political satire, some of it was actually believed as truthful (usually by progressives looking for one more thing to hang around GOP candidate's neck.

Factual correctness is not important to Saturday Night Live or any satire (they weren't trying to convince the viewer that President Obama would ever push someone down the stairs either). What matters the most for Saturday Night Live is that their sketches generate laughter on Saturday and discussion around the office water cooler on Monday. Apparently "The Washington Post" doesn't get it.

The Facts Behind The 'Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People' Law

Posted on 04:52 by Vicky daru
Six countries including America’s good friend Saudi Arabia claim Islam as the ideological foundation of state and constitution. Fourteen other countries and the Palestinian Territories have legally set Islam as their state religion. But legally create one Jewish State; it becomes the biggest affront to human rights since…well the last trumped up charge against Israel

The Israeli cabinet approved on Sunday a basic law “Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People,” legislation that cements Israel’s status as a Jewish state

Set to be voted on by the Knesset by the end of the week is a new law that Israel, among other things, as “a democratic state, founded on the principles of liberty, justice and peace, in accordance with the vision of Israel’s prophets, which upholds the individual rights of all of its citizens according to the law.”

The bill also says ”Jewish law will serve as an inspiration for the Knesset,” When a particular judicial quandary cannot be derived directly from Jewish law, bill continues that the Knesset may decide on the matter based on “the principals of liberty, justice, integrity and peace, in light of the heritage of Israel.”

It also asserts “national rights” of the Jewish people, such as the flag and anthem and right to immigrate. The legislation determines that Israel will establish the Sabbath as a national day of rest, and states that the government will work to strengthen its connection with Jewish communities in the Diaspora.

Just as important by the time it reaches the Knesset it will include promises to allow each and every citizen of Israel, “regardless of religion, race or nationality, to act to preserve his or her culture, legacy, language and identity.”

Israel has no constitution per se; instead its constitutional character is made up of basic laws, judgments and the Declaration of Independence of 1948, which enshrines the right of the Jewish people to their own sovereign state and also pledges to “uphold the full social and political equality of all its citizens.” If passed this so called Jewish law will become a “basic law.”

This new law implements the original vision of UN Resolution 181, the original partition resolution passed by the UN in November 1947. It did not call for the establishment of a state of Israel. UN Resolution 181 calls for dividing Palestine into Independent Arab and Jewish States.

There has been strong opposition to the bill within and outside Israel.

According a report in Haaretz, the attorney general, Yehuda Weinstein, has expressed concern, shared by some ministers, that the new law would effectively give greater emphasis to Israel’s Jewish character at the expense of its democratic nature. A number of Israeli basic laws use the term “Jewish and democratic”, giving equal weight to both. They worry the new law would enshrine only the Jewish character of the state.

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni (Hatnua) and Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid) stressed that under no circumstances would they or members of their parties, both secular in nature, vote in favor of the law in its current form, despite the possibility that Netanyahu could fire them. Livni believes the law could even break apart the Netanyahu coalition and force new elections.

“People ask who needs this bill; we have managed 66 years without it,” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said ahead of the meeting. “And I ask, who needs the Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty, we managed 45 years without it. We need both,” he said. “Israel is a Jewish democratic state. There are those who want democracy to take precedence over Judaism, and those who want Judaism to take precedence over democracy. In the law that I am bringing, both principles are equal and must be given equal consideration.”

Netanyahu said Israel is the national home of the Jewish people where there are equal rights for every citizen. “But there are national rights only for the Jewish people; a flag, anthem, the right of every Jew to immigrate to Israel, and other national symbols,” he said. He promised to amend the draft before any final Knesset vote in Parliament to ensure, the principle of “equal individual rights for every citizen.”

The media was quick to trash the law as something that will inflame tensions. The “Associated Press “led its report with, “The Israeli Cabinet on Sunday moved to legally define the country as the nation-state of the Jewish people a decision that will likely inflame already-raw tensions.”

“The NY Times” began by calling it “a move that critics said could undermine the fragile relationship with the country’s Arab minority at a time of heightened tensions.”

Sydney Australia’s “The Age” led by calling it a “move that critics said could undermine the fragile relationship with the country's Arab minority at a time of heightened tensions.”

“The Guardian” in the UK said the bill “defines Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people has been approved by cabinet despite warnings that the move risks undermining the country’s democratic character.”

Nowhere in any of the reports does it compare Israel’s intended laws to that of its Muslim neighbors. The Israel law will guarantee freedom of religious practice; in Saudi Arabia for example you can be arrested for setting up a Christmas tree. The Egyptian constitution is closer to what Israel is proposing, it supposedly guarantees absolute freedom of belief, but Islam is the state religion. American ally Kuwait does not recognize religious groups not sanctioned in the Quran (Jews and Christians although there are no Jews left in the country). Other religions cannot operate their own official places of worship or obtain visas for their clergy. The Palestinian territories does not want Jews living within its borders.

The critics of the “Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People,” bills coming from two places, liberal in observance and secular Jews who believe it is possible to separate Jewishness from the religion, and media sources that will criticize Israel for anything she does.

Truth be told, Israel cannot demand that the Palestinians recognize her as the “Jewish State,” if Israel herself doesn’t recognize it as a Jewish State.

As long as the bill recognizes individual rights and freedom and continues to allow everyone equal voting rights, Israel will remain what it always has been a Democratic and Jewish State.

RACE WAR!! Giuliani Scolds Dyson, What About The 93% of Blacks Who Are Killed By Other Blacks?

Posted on 13:20 by Vicky daru
During a "Meet the Press" discussion about police forces in Black neighborhoods being disproportionately white former Mayor Giuliani argued they are ignoring the bigger problem, black on black violent crime,  which made MSNBC contributor, Professor Michael Eric Dyson flip out arguing Giuliani was engaged in a massive false equivalency.

At one point Giuliani took off his glasses, an indication he was getting ready to rumble,

“[Black on black crime] is the reason for the heavy police presence in the black community. Why don’t you cut it down so so many white police officers don’t have to be in black areas? And eventually, "The white police officers wouldn’t be there if you weren’t killing each other.”

Dyson answered, "This is the defensive mechanism of white supremacy in your mind”

      Watch the angry exchange below:
Giuliani: Well, starting with Mayor Koch, Mayor Dinkins, myself, Mayor Bloomberg, we have tried to make the police force in New York City as proportionate as we can. We go out of our way to do that. I think we do a pretty good job, not a perfect job. But the reality.
Todd: You're not on this list. That's a good thing. Right. I was glad to see that we weren't.

Giuliani: The fact is, I find it very disappointing that you are not discussing the fact that 93% of blacks in America are killed by other blacks. We're talking about the exception here.

      Todd: Go ahead, Michael.

Giuliani: Let me finish. We are talking about the significant exception, 93% of blacks are killed by other blacks. I would like to see the attention paid to that that you are paying to this and the solutions so to that.

Dyson: Can I say this? First of all, most black people who commit crimes against black people go to jail. They are not sworn by the police department as a agent of the state to uphold the law. In both cases, that's a false equivalency that the Mayor has drawn which has exacerbated which is imbedded in American culture. Black people who kill black people go to jail.

      Giuliani: It's hardly --

Dyson: If a jury can indict --

      Giuliani: It's hardly insignificant.

Todd: It's the trust issue. This is a trust issue.

      Giuliani: It's hardly insignificant.

Dyson: I didn't say it was insignificant disproportionate.

Giuliani: It's the reason for the heavy police presence in the black community.

      Dyson: Not at all.

      Giuliani: 93%.

Dyson: Not at all. The police presence cannot make a distinction between those who are criminals and --

Giuliani: What about the poor black child killed by another black child? Why aren't you protesting?

Dyson: I do protest. They go to jail. Why don't you talk about the way in which white policemen are undercut the abilities of Americans to live?

Giuliani: Why don't you cut it down so many white police officers don't have to be in black areas?

Dyson: They don't have to be. It's the matter of the affect of the state occupying the forces.

Giuliani: How about 70 do 75% of the crime in my city --

Dyson: How about your attitude that reinforces

Todd: This is a debate that --

Giuliani: How about you reduce crime?

Dyson: When I became Mayor, I will do that.

      Todd: Let's not make this.

Giuliani: The white police officers wouldn't be there if you weren't killing each other.

      Dyson: The second --

Todd: Michael -- I’m going to stop it there. Michael Eric Dyson, Mayor Guiliani, as you can see, this has a lot of tension to it, a lot of heated debate. Thank you both for being here.

Former NBC Employee- I Was Bill Cosby's Fixer

Posted on 11:37 by Vicky daru
According to Frank Scotti he was the one who guarded the outside Bill Cosby's dressing room, sent hush money to women and even arraigned for the star to have a private apartment in Queens for another pretty young lady. In short he was the mega-star's fixer.
“He had everybody fooled,” said Scotti in an exclusive interview with the Daily News. “Nobody suspected.”

Scotti came forward last week with his insider’s look at Cosby’s womanizing ways during the magical 1984-92 run of “The Cosby Show.”

The 90-year-old Scotti said he decided to speak as the drumbeat of sexual abuse allegations against Cosby, 77, grew steadily louder. “I felt sorry for the women,” he told The News.

The Emmy-winning Cosby, NBC’s most bankable star at the time, used Scotti to deliver monthly payouts to eight different women in 1989-90 — including Shawn Thompson, whose daughter Autumn Jackson claimed the actor was her dad.
Thompson told the TV show “Inside Edition’’ that she believed that the entertainer drugged and raped her — nine months before she gave birth to her daughter. Daughter Autumn was convicted of threatening to tell her story a supermarket tabloid if Cosby didn't pay her off.

Cosby, while denying paternity, paid out more than $100,000 to Thompson over the years after their 1974 affair began. Scotti told The News that he believes Cosby was sleeping with all the women who received money.

“I was suspicious that something was going on,” said Scotti. “I suspected that he was having sex with them because the other person he was sending money to (Thompson) he was definitely having sex with.

“Why else would he be sending money?” Scotti asked. “He was sending these women $2,000 a month. What else could I think?”

Scotti, who lives in Lakewood, N.J., saved copies of money orders from the era detailing his payouts to four of the Cosby women.

He recalled Cosby presenting him with “a satchel of money, all $100 bills,” and pressing Scotti to distribute the payments using money orders in his own name.
Many of the women mentioned by Scotti refused to comment on his report.
Thompson, contacted last week by email, refused to comment on the ongoing Cosby sex scandal and stopped writing once Scotti’s name was mentioned.

A second woman said “Dr. Cosby” sent her money to help cover expenses for her son to attend private school. The receipts showed her receiving four money orders in one day worth $3,500.

“Your source could have asked me, instead of leading you on a witch hunt,” the woman texted The News. “Not that any of this is your business.”

Cosby, via Scotti, passed along an additional $1,560 to a third woman in February 1990.
      One however confirmed Scotti's story.
Angela Leslie, now 52, was the last name on the receipts — and she told The News the Cosby camp paid for her to fly to California in the early 1990s. She got sick and returned her ticket but saw him two years later in Las Vegas.

Once there, Leslie claimed Cosby got naked before getting sexual — despite her lack of interest. When she backed off, Cosby chased her out of the room.

“I felt so used,” she told The News.

Scotti said Cosby also had an arrangement with a Manhattan modeling agency in which the owner would deliver young women to his dressing room. Some of the aspiring models were as young as 16, Scotti said.

“‘I want you to keep that one girl here,’ ” Scotti quoted Cosby as telling him. “ ‘I want to interview her for a part in the show.’”

The other models and the agency’s owner would quickly disappear, leaving Cosby’s pick alone with the comedian.

“The owner just walked right out,” he recounted. “She knew exactly what was going to go on. Then he’d tell me, ‘Stand outside the door and don’t let anyone in.’ Now you put that together and figure (out) why.”
As of this writing the number of women who have, either anonymously or openly, now accused Cosby has risen to 17, with an unusually large number talking on camera. So many victims of alleged sexual assault, from many walks of life, are now going public to talk unashamedly about their experiences in America that experts are hailing it as the most significant cultural shift against rape in a generation.

On one hand all 17 cannot being lying, on the other Cosby was my favorite comedian ever. Scotti's story certainly gives more credence to the claims of the 17 women.

Like many who grew up to listening to Bill Cosby albums, my head says they are probably telling the truth, my heart prays they aren't.

Administration's Unemployment Claim Proves Gruber's Not Alone In Belief of American's Stupidity

Posted on 09:46 by Vicky daru
To paraphrase Jonathan Gruber, the White House is trying to fool the "stupid American" voters again. On Wednesday, they released a chart reflecting that unemployment “is dropping faster than projected" in the years 2010-2014. Not so, according to the 2009 projection used to sell the public on the stimulus bill. Compared to the 2009 projections, unemployment has declined slower than estimated.

First released in the tweet below, the White House chart compares the actual unemployment rate with forecasts made by the Administration in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014:

That chart omits the projection from the “Romer-Bernstein Report” issued by the administration in January 2009 used to sell the the almost one trillion dollar stimulus plan. If those projections were included they would present a different story.

Based on the Romer-Bernstein Report, the unemployment rate of 5.8% was supposed to have been achieved over two years ago (in early 2012).

The truth that the Administration is hiding is that this has been the slowest recession jobs recovery the United States has ever experienced in the post-war period, and that the 2009 stimulus plan failed to meet its objectives.

      Chart Source: Calculated Risk
Jonathan Gruber wasn't the first person associated with the Obama Administration to believe that the American voters were a stupid lot, he was just the first one caught on tape vocalizing the concept.

The Administration's misleading tweet/chart on unemployment is just one more example of their low opinion of the intelligence of the American voter.

Harry Reid Tells White House Staff to "Get A Life!"

Posted on 15:17 by Vicky daru

During last fall's government shutdown, President Obama called Harry Reid to tell him that he suspected Reid's Chief of Staff David Krone of leaking to the news media, and requested that he stay away from future meetings.
To Mr. Obama’s surprise, Mr. Krone was listening in on the call. Suddenly, the aide piped up and made it clear to the president that he did not appreciate the accusation.
Since then, according to a NY Times report, the White House has banned all congressional staff from White House meetings to prevent information form being leaked to the press. “We know that that’s because of me, and I don’t really care — that’s fine,” Krone told The Times.
Administration and congressional officials have argued that the transgressions of Mr. Krone — publicly challenging the president, betraying the Oval Office code of silence and acting more like a senator than a staff member to one — have damaged Democratic unity at a time when the party can least afford it, as its numbers in Congress dwindle and the president sorely needs discipline in his ranks to advance what is left of his agenda.

It all exploded this month when Mr. Krone, 48, astonished even some veteran Capitol Hill staff members by speaking on the record in a highly critical way about private conversations with Mr. Obama.

Mr. Krone said he was simply protecting Mr. Reid. A few days before the midterm elections, he said, he was hearing from reporters that the White House was blaming the legislative strategy devised by him and Mr. Reid for the party’s lousy electoral prospects. “I’m going to go meet with these reporters,” Mr. Krone recalled telling Mr. Reid. “And he’s, like, ‘O.K.’ ” Mr. Krone then debriefed reporters for The Washington Post about an Oval Office meeting in which Mr. Reid pleaded in vain with Mr. Obama to do more to help endangered Democrats, suggesting that the president was to blame for the party’s disastrous showing. The article, which was published the day after the election, landed like an atom bomb on official Washington.
Reid on the other hand doesn't care what other people think. He sees Krone as someone who is fiercely loyal and who will protect his boss at all costs.

[Reid] said he did not ask Mr. Krone to hammer the president for him, but also did not regret his doing so. “He didn’t make it up, you know,” he said in an interview. Asked if he worried that the escalation had damaged the ability of Senate Democrats to work with the administration, Mr. Reid raised his soft voice. “They should just get over it,” he said. “I have a good relationship with the president. This is all staff driven. Get a life. Forget about this.”

He has apparently already forgotten Mr. Obama’s unusual request to keep Mr. Krone out of meetings.

“I don’t remember anything about that,” Mr. Reid said in his chandeliered office on Nov. 13, a few hours after being re-elected leader of the Senate Democrats. “Do you?” he asked, turning to Mr. Krone, who was seated beside him in the “leader’s chair.”

“Umm,” Mr. Krone, who is rarely at a loss for words, said through a frozen smile. A few minutes later, Mr. Krone, dressed impeccably in one of his bespoke suits, walked a reporter out of the office, and, referring to the president’s call, jocularly exclaimed, “I can’t believe that you know that story.”
As much as Krone has created enemies in the White House, and both parties his job is very safe. He is too close to his boss.
Reid fought back tears as he recalled the time he visited his wife, who had been injured in a car accident, and saw Mr. Krone at her hospital bedside. “David is someone I can say, and it doesn’t affect my manhood at all,” Mr. Reid said, “I love David Krone.”

Hillary Clinton, 'Rather Than Defending The Constitution, He Has Defied Its Principles And Traditions'

Posted on 13:48 by Vicky daru

Senator Hillary Clinton, Remarks At The Capital Conference '08, Washington, DC, 4/15/08:
Unfortunately, our current president does not seem to understand the basic character of the office he holds. Rather than faithfully execute the laws, he has rewritten them through signing statements, ignored them through secret legal opinions, undermined them by elevating ideology over facts. Rather than defending the Constitution, he has defied its principles and traditions. He has abused his power while failing to understand its purpose.

They Lied About 8 Million, Lied About 7.1 Million- Obamacare Enrollments Revised Again Now Less Than 7 Million

Posted on 11:11 by Vicky daru

Remember those good old days? President Obama celebrating that his health care law had enrolled over 7 million people? By the time the enrollment period was over we were told that over 8 million people had signed up for the president's signature plan.

Last month, the Obama administration announced year one Obamacare enrollments was down to 7.1 million, which was still over the goal of 7 million they set. On Thursday, while much of the news coverage was focused on the Obama immigration plan, the administration announced that the 7.1 number was wrong and the goal wasn't reached.

The accurate number with full health-care plans is 6.7 million as of Oct. 15, a spokesman for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) confirmed today, saying the U.S. won’t include dental plans in future reports.

“The mistake we made is unacceptable,” Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell said on her verified Twitter account. “I will be communicating that clearly throughout the department.”

Actually HHS didn't discover the error, Darrel Issa's House Oversight Committee found the incorrect number and informed the Administration.

“A mistake was made in calculating the number of individuals with effectuated Marketplace enrollments,” said Kevin Griffis, a spokesman for the U.S. Health and Human Services Department. “Individuals who had both Marketplace medical and dental coverage were erroneously counted in our recent announcements,” he said in an e-mail.

After the initial enrollment period, the White House announced with great fanfare that 8 million people had signed up for Obamacare. Since then, the number has shrunk due to people dropping out of the program, not paying for the plan they signed up for, etc.

Chairman Issa does not believe the addition of dental plans was done in error. He called it a "concerted effort to obscure a heavy drop-out rate of perhaps a million or more enrollees by quietly adding in dental plan sign-ups to exchange numbers”

Newsbusted: Debbie Wasserman Shultz Admits -Democratic Party's Problem's Name Is 'Barack'

Posted on 06:33 by Vicky daru
Since they got crushed on election day, Democratic Party leadership has been doing some soul searching to figure out why they lost so badly. Last week DNC Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz admitted that the party has problems.  But only after Newsbusted Anchor Jodie Miller interviewed the Ms Schultz (see video below) do we find out what the party's leadership believes the problem is.  Apparently the DNC figured out what most of the rest of the country already knows.  The party's problems (as well as the country's) are named "Barack"

Other news items covered in the latest installment of Newsbusted the twice- weekly faux news feature from Newsbusters.org (embedded below) include; Is Bruce Jenner Cross-dressing?; the latest on Gitmo detainees; news from the USDA; and much, much more.

Please make sure you watch the video below because something bad always happens to the people who don't. For example last week the Mayor of Buffalo forgot to press play and now his city has been hit with almost 100 inches of snow.  So if you do not want to be snowed in...you better press play.

Ferguson Police Officer Darren Willson To Resign

Posted on 04:46 by Vicky daru
CNN is reporting tonight that Darren Wilson, the officer who shot and killed Michael Brown in August, is negotiating his resignation from the Ferguson police force. Seemingly it depends on what comes out of the grand jury. If they do not indict him he is more likely to resign as a way to help his fellow officers.

A transcript and video of the report follows below:
Anderson Cooper: Breaking news from Ferguson, Missouri in the case that led to the death of a teenager. An outcry on the streets, grand jury proceedings, expected to wrap up as soon as tomorrow deciding whether officer Darren Wilson should be charged in the death of Michael brown. Regardless of what the grand jury decide. Darren Wilson may not be returning to the police force. Negotiations are underway for Darren Wilson to resign. Our justice correspondent, Evan Perez, joins us with the latest. You are hearing this from your sources what are they saying?

Evan Perez: That's right. That's right. Anderson. We are hearing from sources that Darren Wilson is in the final stages of negotiations under which he would resign. Now, you know he wants to make clear he told people close to him that, you know he wants to make clear he its not admitting fault for anything. He doesn't believe he has done anything wrong, but he is doing this mostly because he feels it would be good not only for the community but also for his fellow officers. Andersen.

Anderson Cooper:  There had been a report, based on what the Ferguson police said, he would return to duty if the grand jury did not choose to indict him. That I think surprised a lot of people. In a relatively small community. Relatively small police force like Fergusons, the idea that he would return to the force, whatever side of this you are on, in that community. Would probably raise a lot of, a lot of -- consternation

Evan Perez: Absolutely. I will tell you this, when Ferguson police chief, Tom Jackson said that in a couple of media interviews. There was a lot of pushback. A lot of people thought this is not helpful. Frankly, inflammatory for him to be saying that. These talks have been under way in the final stages. One concern Darren Wilson had. The grand jury has still been hearing evidence. He did not want to influence the grand jury, he wanted to make sure that, that, you know they didn't hear that he was resigning. And then that way, perhaps, read into that, that he was admitting any fault. That has been the linchpin in the negotiations.

Anderson Cooper:  Are the negotiations based on the idea that, Darren Wilson may not get indicted if he did get indicted would that affect the decision whether or not he would resign from the force?

Evan Perez: Quite possibly. You are right. These negotiations are hinging on that. The expectation that they have, obviously if he gets indicted. Then he is in for a, a tougher fight, right. This could be off the table. So the fact that all the talks have been going back and forth for the past few weeks tells you this has been very sensitive. He could yet change his mind. But we are told these are now in the final stages. That his plan is to resign. As a way to help his fellow officers kind of move on. And help, heal the community here.

Breaking--Full Text Of Obama's Immigration Speech Prepared For Delivery

Posted on 17:01 by Vicky daru
My fellow Americans, tonight, I’d like to talk with you about immigration.

For more than 200 years, our tradition of welcoming immigrants from around the world has given us a tremendous advantage over other nations. It’s kept us youthful, dynamic, and entrepreneurial. It has shaped our character as a people with limitless possibilities – people not trapped by our past, but able to remake ourselves as we choose.

But today, our immigration system is broken, and everybody knows it.

Families who enter our country the right way and play by the rules watch others flout the rules. Business owners who offer their workers good wages and benefits see the competition exploit undocumented immigrants by paying them far less. All of us take offense to anyone who reaps the rewards of living in America without taking on the responsibilities of living in America. And undocumented immigrants who desperately want to embrace those responsibilities see little option but to remain in the shadows, or risk their families being torn apart.

It’s been this way for decades. And for decades, we haven’t done much about it.

When I took office, I committed to fixing this broken immigration system. And I began by doing what I could to secure our borders. Today, we have more agents and technology deployed to secure our southern border than at any time in our history. And over the past six years, illegal border crossings have been cut by more than half. Although this summer, there was a brief spike in unaccompanied children being apprehended at our border, the number of such children is now actually lower than it’s been in nearly two years. Overall, the number of people trying to cross our border illegally is at its lowest level since the 1970s. Those are the facts.

Meanwhile, I worked with Congress on a comprehensive fix, and last year, 68 Democrats, Republicans, and Independents came together to pass a bipartisan bill in the Senate. It wasn’t perfect. It was a compromise, but it reflected common sense. It would have doubled the number of border patrol agents, while giving undocumented immigrants a pathway to citizenship if they paid a fine, started paying their taxes, and went to the back of the line. And independent experts said that it would help grow our economy and shrink our deficits.

Had the House of Representatives allowed that kind of a bill a simple yes-or-no vote, it would have passed with support from both parties, and today it would be the law. But for a year and a half now, Republican leaders in the House have refused to allow that simple vote.

Now, I continue to believe that the best way to solve this problem is by working together to pass that kind of common sense law. But until that happens, there are actions I have the legal authority to take as President – the same kinds of actions taken by Democratic and Republican Presidents before me – that will help make our immigration system more fair and more just.

Tonight, I am announcing those actions.

First, we’ll build on our progress at the border with additional resources for our law enforcement personnel so that they can stem the flow of illegal crossings, and speed the return of those who do cross over.

Second, I will make it easier and faster for high-skilled immigrants, graduates, and entrepreneurs to stay and contribute to our economy, as so many business leaders have proposed.

Third, we’ll take steps to deal responsibly with the millions of undocumented immigrants who already live in our country.

I want to say more about this third issue, because it generates the most passion and controversy. Even as we are a nation of immigrants, we are also a nation of laws. Undocumented workers broke our immigration laws, and I believe that they must be held accountable – especially those who may be dangerous. That’s why, over the past six years, deportations of criminals are up 80 percent. And that’s why we’re going to keep focusing enforcement resources on actual threats to our security. Felons, not families. Criminals, not children. Gang members, not a mother who’s working hard to provide for her kids. We’ll prioritize, just like law enforcement does every day.

But even as we focus on deporting criminals, the fact is, millions of immigrants – in every state, of every race and nationality – will still live here illegally. And let’s be honest – tracking down, rounding up, and deporting millions of people isn’t realistic. Anyone who suggests otherwise isn’t being straight with you. It’s also not who we are as Americans. After all, most of these immigrants have been here a long time. They work hard, often in tough, low-paying jobs. They support their families. They worship at our churches. Many of their kids are American-born or spent most of their lives here, and their hopes, dreams, and patriotism are just like ours.

As my predecessor, President Bush, once put it: “They are a part of American life.”

Now here’s the thing: we expect people who live in this country to play by the rules. We expect that those who cut the line will not be unfairly rewarded. So we’re going to offer the following deal: If you’ve been in America for more than five years; if you have children who are American citizens or legal residents; if you register, pass a criminal background check, and you’re willing to pay your fair share of taxes – you’ll be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily, without fear of deportation. You can come out of the shadows and get right with the law.

That’s what this deal is. Now let’s be clear about what it isn’t. This deal does not apply to anyone who has come to this country recently. It does not apply to anyone who might come to America illegally in the future. It does not grant citizenship, or the right to stay here permanently, or offer the same benefits that citizens receive – only Congress can do that. All we’re saying is we’re not going to deport you.

I know some of the critics of this action call it amnesty. Well, it’s not. Amnesty is the immigration system we have today – millions of people who live here without paying their taxes or playing by the rules, while politicians use the issue to scare people and whip up votes at election time.

That’s the real amnesty – leaving this broken system the way it is. Mass amnesty would be unfair. Mass deportation would be both impossible and contrary to our character. What I’m describing is accountability – a commonsense, middle ground approach: If you meet the criteria, you can come out of the shadows and get right with the law. If you’re a criminal, you’ll be deported. If you plan to enter the U.S. illegally, your chances of getting caught and sent back just went up.

The actions I’m taking are not only lawful, they’re the kinds of actions taken by every single Republican President and every single Democratic President for the past half century. And to those Members of Congress who question my authority to make our immigration system work better, or question the wisdom of me acting where Congress has failed, I have one answer: Pass a bill. I want to work with both parties to pass a more permanent legislative solution. And the day I sign that bill into law, the actions I take will no longer be necessary. Meanwhile, don’t let a disagreement over a single issue be a dealbreaker on every issue. That’s not how our democracy works, and Congress certainly shouldn’t shut down our government again just because we disagree on this. Americans are tired of gridlock. What our country needs from us right now is a common purpose – a higher purpose.

Most Americans support the types of reforms I’ve talked about tonight. But I understand the disagreements held by many of you at home. Millions of us, myself included, go back generations in this country, with ancestors who put in the painstaking work to become citizens. So we don’t like the notion that anyone might get a free pass to American citizenship. I know that some worry immigration will change the very fabric of who we are, or take our jobs, or stick it to middle-class families at a time when they already feel like they’ve gotten the raw end of the deal for over a decade. I hear these concerns. But that’s not what these steps would do. Our history and the facts show that immigrants are a net plus for our economy and our society. And I believe it’s important that all of us have this debate without impugning each other’s character.

Because for all the back-and-forth of Washington, we have to remember that this debate is about something bigger. It’s about who we are as a country, and who we want to be for future generations.

Are we a nation that tolerates the hypocrisy of a system where workers who pick our fruit and make our beds never have a chance to get right with the law? Or are we a nation that gives them a chance to make amends, take responsibility, and give their kids a better future?

Are we a nation that accepts the cruelty of ripping children from their parents’ arms? Or are we a nation that values families, and works to keep them together?

Are we a nation that educates the world’s best and brightest in our universities, only to send them home to create businesses in countries that compete against us? Or are we a nation that encourages them to stay and create jobs, businesses, and industries right here in America?

That’s what this debate is all about. We need more than politics as usual when it comes to immigration; we need reasoned, thoughtful, compassionate debate that focuses on our hopes, not our fears.

I know the politics of this issue are tough. But let me tell you why I have come to feel so strongly about it. Over the past few years, I have seen the determination of immigrant fathers who worked two or three jobs, without taking a dime from the government, and at risk at any moment of losing it all, just to build a better life for their kids. I’ve seen the heartbreak and anxiety of children whose mothers might be taken away from them just because they didn’t have the right papers. I’ve seen the courage of students who, except for the circumstances of their birth, are as American as Malia or Sasha; students who bravely come out as undocumented in hopes they could make a difference in a country they love. These people – our neighbors, our classmates, our friends – they did not come here in search of a free ride or an easy life. They came to work, and study, and serve in our military, and above all, contribute to America’s success.

Tomorrow, I’ll travel to Las Vegas and meet with some of these students, including a young woman named Astrid Silva. Astrid was brought to America when she was four years old. Her only possessions were a cross, her doll, and the frilly dress she had on. When she started school, she didn’t speak any English. She caught up to the other kids by reading newspapers and watching PBS, and became a good student. Her father worked in landscaping. Her mother cleaned other people’s homes. They wouldn’t let Astrid apply to a technology magnet school for fear the paperwork would out her as an undocumented immigrant – so she applied behind their back and got in. Still, she mostly lived in the shadows – until her grandmother, who visited every year from Mexico, passed away, and she couldn’t travel to the funeral without risk of being found out and deported. It was around that time she decided to begin advocating for herself and others like her, and today, Astrid Silva is a college student working on her third degree.

Are we a nation that kicks out a striving, hopeful immigrant like Astrid – or are we a nation that finds a way to welcome her in?

Scripture tells us that we shall not oppress a stranger, for we know the heart of a stranger – we were strangers once, too.

My fellow Americans, we are and always will be a nation of immigrants. We were strangers once, too. And whether our forebears were strangers who crossed the Atlantic, or the Pacific, or the Rio Grande, we are here only because this country welcomed them in, and taught them that to be an American is about something more than what we look like, or what our last names are, or how we worship. What makes us Americans is our shared commitment to an ideal – that all of us are created equal, and all of us have the chance to make of our lives what we will.

That’s the country our parents and grandparents and generations before them built for us. That’s the tradition we must uphold. That’s the legacy we must leave for those who are yet to come.

Thank you, God bless you, and God bless this country we love.
