Palestinians Joining The International Criminal Court? Be Careful What You Wish For Pres. Abbas

Posted on 14:44 by Vicky daru
As predicted this morning, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas signed on to 20 international agreements on Wednesday, including the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), a day after a bid for independence by 2017 failed at the United Nations Security Council. It is his intention to sue Israel for war crimes. But as the saying goes, Abbas should be careful what he wishes for--he might get it).

That's not just my opinion but the opinion of the Palestinian Authority's representative to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), Ibrahim Khreisheh he was interviewed on the subject this past July:
But contrasting Israel's conduct during Operation Protective Edge to stop rocket fire from Gaza - in which Israeli forces always warn civilians before launching airstrikes - to the actions of Hamas and other armed groups, Ibrahim Khreisheh said any such move would surely backfire.

Noting concerns that Israel could launch legal offensives of its own against the PA should it sign up to the ICC, the presenter asked whether such a move would be realistic. The response was unequivocal.

"The missiles that are now being launched against Israel - each and every missile constitutes a crime against humanity, whether it hits or misses, because it is directed at civilian targets," said Khreisheh.

He went on to claim that Israel, too, was guilty of such crimes during the conflict, and also mentioned contested claims about the legality of Israeli building in Judea and Samaria.

But he maintained that human rights abuses by Palestinian terrorist groups were far worse - particularly when it came to harming civilians.

In order to launch an appeal to the ICC, Khreisheh said, all "Palestinian factions" would need to commit, in writing, to refrain from targeting Israeli civilians - something which none of them are likely to do.

In stark contrast, he noted how "many of our people in Gaza appeared on TV and said that the Israeli army warned them to evacuate their homes before the bombardment."

"In such a case, if someone is killed, the (international) law considers it a mistake rather than an intentional killing, because (the Israelis) followed the legal procedures," he explained.
"As for the missiles launched from our side - we never warn anyone about where these missiles are about to fall or about operations we carry out"
And that doesn't even include other terrorist attacks including the recent butchering of four rabbis in a Jerusalem synagogue.

In the end the move was made to appease those in the PA who wanted Abbas to join the court. Although threats will be made, and possibly even filed, it will be a very long time before the PA pushes this case to a trial. The Palestinian leadership is smarter than that. And some Palestinians are warning about the implications.
“There is no question mark as to what are the consequences, that there will be immediate American and Israeli financial sanctions,” said Khalil Shikaki, director of the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research in the West Bank city of Ramallah. “Those sanctions will gradually become more and more crippling, and this could indeed be the beginning of the end of the P.A. They fully realize that.”
Mr Shikaki may be right today the State Department uncharacteristically slapped the Palestinians' hands:
"We are deeply troubled by today’s Palestinian action regarding the ICC," Jeff Rathke, Director of the Office of Press Relations at the State Department, said in a statement. "It is an escalatory step that will not achieve any of the outcomes most Palestinians have long hoped to see for their people."

"Actions like this are not the answer," Rathke said, calling the latest action "badly damaging" and one of many that "undermine trust and create doubts about their commitment to a negotiated peace."
"Deeply troubled" is Diplo-speak for really pissed off.  The Israeli Prime Minister was not as diplomatic:
Israel has little to fear from the Palestinian Authority (PA) signing the Rome Statute to join the International Criminal Court (ICC), Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stated Wednesday night - and the PA has everything to lose.

"The one who should fear the International Criminal Court at the Hague is the Palestinian Authority, which is in a unity government with Hamas, a declared terrorist organization like ISIS that commits war crimes," Netanyahu stated.

"We will take steps in response and we will defend the soldiers of the IDF, the most moral army in the world," he continued. "We will repel this latest effort to force diktats on us, just as we have repelled the Palestinian turn to the UN Security Council."
Like I said President Abbas made a move to protect himself politically, but in the end it may very well hurt himself and his people much more than it will hurt Israel.

Posted on 11:23 by Vicky daru

At about 12 Noon EST, protesters took over the St. Louis Police headquarters saying it was part of their New Year’s resolution is “to take back our justice system, and in doing so reclaiming the promise of our future.” Their plan was to occupy the department for four and a half hours. About 20 people entered the headquarters armed with a self-styled eviction notice and a list of 11 demands.

Mayor DeBlasio's Staff Called Politicians Asking Them To Blast NYPD Police Unions

Posted on 07:43 by Vicky daru
Mayor DeBlasio Holding The Groundhog He Dropped And Accidentally Killed
If this is how Mayor DeBlasio intends to "make up" with the police unions as they say in Brooklyn, "fuhgeddaboudit !"

According to the New York Post the mayor made a feeble attempt to sway public opinion against the NYPD by having his aides call and urge  "political allies to attack the police unions for their tactics just days before the mayor met with five police union leaders to hammer out a truce."

Fortunately those politicians though about the next election and ignored their request.
One elected official told The Post that de Blasio’s aides reached out after the funeral for Det. Rafael Ramos in which dozens of rank-and-file officers turned their backs on the mayor as he spoke.

The aides requested public criticisms of the “union’s tactics,” the source said.
De Blasio’s government affairs officials also privately began reaching out to allies as recently as this Monday – just one day before his peace pipe pow-wow with union leaders at the police academy, DNAinfo.com first reported Tuesday.

“City Hall wanted me to blast the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association for turning their backs on him,” one legislator told the web site. “They called up Monday, said they were calling all of us, and that it was our obligation to stand up defending the mayor.”

One City Council insider said only that the administration was seeking to circle the wagons amid a growing rift with NYPD rank-and-file.

“He gave us talking points, but it was very much a unity message,” the insider said. “They’re not asking us to defend them against [PBA President] Pat Lynch. They’re trying to keep everyone in line and have a unity message.”
Of course the Mayor's office denied the claims:
“The Administration did not ask elected officials to ‘attack’ anyone,” said City Hall spokeswoman Marti Adams. “As we’ve often done, we reached out to public officials to ask that they stand with the Mayor and his requests for New Yorkers to do all they can to respect and support the families of Officers Ramos and Liu as the city deals with this unconscionable tragedy.”
Despite the City Hall denial the report rings true. A call to blast the police unions is indicative of the same political ineptness the Mayor displayed when he talked about warning his son to beware of the NYPD.

Palestinian's Bid To Impose Their Version Of Peace Via UN Fails: Huge Embarrassment For Abbas

Posted on 04:55 by Vicky daru
The United States told them not to bring up the vote, insisting on negotiations rather than an imposed timetable. Israel told them not to, heck even Hamas told them not to but Palestinian President Abbas went ahead with a UN Security Council vote which would have established a Palestinian State within a year, forced an Israeli withdrawal to the pre-1967 lines by 12/2017 and divided Jerusalem all on the Palestinian terms. failed by one vote thanks to a last minute switch by Nigeria.

China, Russia. Argentina, Chad, Chile, Jordan, Luxembourg and of course France voted for the resolution but it needed nine votes to pass. Australia and the United States voted against the resolution. The UK, Lithuania, South Korea, Rwanda, and Nigeria abstained.
Earlier this week it was expected that the Palestinians would put off the vote until the New Year, but the PA believed it had the nine votes and after a Tuesday morning meeting of the 22 UN Arab states, the Jordanian Ambassador announced his call for an immediate vote that would have forced to US to decide whether or not to use their veto (a veto would have been certain under any previous administration),

According to Israel Channel 2 it was Prime Minister Netanyahu who saved the day by convincing Nigeria to switch from a yes to an abstention. He made a point to thank Nigeria and Rwanda publicly:
"I want to express appreciation and gratitude to the United States and Australia, as well as special appreciation to the President of Rwanda, my friend Paul Kagame, and to the President of Nigeria, my friend Goodluck Jonathan,” Netanyahu said when he arrived Wednesday morning to vote in the Likud primary.

“I spoke with both of them, they promised me personally that they would not support this decision, and they stood by their words. That is what tipped the scales."
One of the yes votes was surprising to Israel:
But France’s yes vote was a jaw-dropper. The Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem was caught entirely off-guard when it emerged, just hours before the vote, that Paris had changed its position and intended to vote in favor. French diplomats had spent weeks working on their own, “softer” statehood resolution, which gave Israel more time for a withdrawal and included several provisions more to Israel’s taste, including more acceptable phrasing on the refugee issue.

The Palestinians refused to adopt the French version, and submitted their own, making a few changes en route that rendered the text still less acceptable to Jerusalem. The final draft added the release of Palestinian prisoners to the list of outstanding issues that require a “just settlement” and demanded the cessation of all Israeli settlement activity, including in East Jerusalem. While an earlier draft spoke of Jerusalem “as the shared capital of the two States,” the version defeated on Monday states explicitly that East Jerusalem shall be the capital of the State of Palestine and envisages “a just resolution of the status of Jerusalem as the capital of the two States.”
That was a mistake by the Jewish State, while they should always try and get support from France it is naive for them to believe that in the end France wont find a way to screw any of its allies.

On the other side of the coin the defeat was a major political embarrassment for leader of Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas, and his Fatah Party's partner in the government, Hamas exploited it as soon as the vote was announced:
The Islamist Hamas movement denounced Abbas on Wednesday for “failure” to push through a UN resolution setting an end date for the Israeli occupation.
“This was a unilateral decision taken by Abu Mazen (Abbas) who has taken the Palestinian decision-making process hostage,” Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhum told AFP, describing it as a “new failure” by the Palestinian leader. – AFP
Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat announced that PA leadership would be meeting Wednesday (today) to determine next steps. He promised the PA would decide a strategy immediately.

"There will be no more waiting, no more hesitation, no more slowdown. We are going to meet and make decisions."

The PA is expected to make one of two moves. They can resubmit the resolution in the New Year when the Security Council rotates five of it members.

Their other option is to join the International Criminal Court and sue Israel for War Crimes, something they have been threatening ever since they were granted UN Observer status. This move would not be a very astute move by the PA as it would be a direct violation of previous agreements signed with Israel and it would open up the PA including its partner Hamas to more viable charges of war crimes including evidence of using its citizens as human shields.

Either way while many of us will be sipping champagne at midnight, the diplomatic corps of Israel the Arab States and the Palestinian Authority will be making their initial maneuvers trying to ensure things go their way in 2015.

Here They Are Readers Choice: The Top 10 Stories of 2014

Posted on 18:39 by Vicky daru
The Top Ten
As it is our tradition, the last five days of the year we post which stories you enjoyed the most, based on total traffic the top fifty posts of the year. We've already posted #41-50, #31-40, #21-30, and #11-20, and now here are the ten posts you liked most in 2014:

#10 The Truth About ISIS: Why Is This Terrorist Group Different From All Other Terrorist Groups?(posted Aug. 28): ISIS is different from other terrorists in two main ways. First it is unprecedented in its level of violence. We are talking about a terrorist organization whose leaders were thrown out of al Qaeda for being too violent. That is a special kind of crazy. But just as important is the fact that ISIS is a more of a single operation, unlike al Qaeda, which had a core group surrounded by many "franchise" terrorist groups, ISIS is a single entity. And as a single entity the "Islamic State" or whatever they are calling themselves today has been able to develop a self-sustaining economy that among other things makes it the richest terrorist group ever and able to fund a lot more evil than other terrorists.

#9 Obama Health Official Instructed Staff To Delete Email Exchange With White House About Healthcare.gov (posted Aug.15): House Republicans on Friday released an email from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Administrator Marilyn Tavenner, a key Obama administration health official instructing the top CMS spokeswoman to delete an email exchange between CMS, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the White House. The email exchange discussed how to handle calls from people asking about Obamacare.  The email is dated October 5, 2013, five days into the disastrous launch of HealthCare.gov. and the first line of the email reads "please delete this email but see if we can work on the script"

#8 Proof President Abbas and Friends Caused Today's Synagogue Massacre  (posted Nov 18): When speaking to the press about the Terrorist Attack in the Jerusalem Synagogue, Prime Minister Netanyahu condemned the continuous anti-Israel and anti-Semitic incitement by the supposedly moderate Palestinian Authority and Fatah Party run by President Abbas. Especially over the past few weeks, Abbas and his party have been calling for violence against Israelis and Jews.

#7 Has The Washington Post Ever Heard Of Satire? They Fact-Check SNL (posted Nov. 24): The opening skit on Saturday Night Live was a hilarious satire of "School House Rock" teaching the difference between a bill and an executive action, using that framework to poke fun at President Obama's recent immigration action. Forgetting that it was satire, "The Washington Post Wonk Blog" fact-checked the comedy routine.

# 6 Fox News Obtains Obama Admin Memo Recommending Bringing Non-Americans To US For Ebola Treatment (posted Oct. 28): On Tuesday evening's Fox Special Report, Mike Emanuel reported he's obtained an internal State Department memo indicating that the Obama Administration is considering bringing non-Americans suffering from Ebola into the country for treatment. Based on the memo it is clear the State Department is recommending the action.  It is also evident that this administration is totally out of touch with the American people. Adam Housley added more on the Greta program (second video below) the memo contains a detailed plan that has been seen by high levels of State Dept. people.

#5 Egyptian Deal a 100% Israel Victory, Israel Acceptance Puts Hamas in a Box (posted July 15):
Israel's security cabinet met Tuesday morning and accepted the Egyptian peace deal despite the fact that Hamas had said no hours earlier. Within an hour after the Israeli acceptance, Hamas fired three rockets toward Israel. However, Israel did not immediately fire back in hopes that despite the Hamas rejection, as Egypt is still trying to get the terrorists to change their minds.

#4 You Want MORE Proof of Hamas Using Civilians As Human Shields? Here are Ten More.. (posted July 28) A few days ago we published ten examples of Hamas using civilians as human shields. Some of you said it was not enough. So here are ten more examples/reports (Plus two bonus) proving that Hamas is using its civilians as human shields:

#3 Nineteen years ago, December 8, 1995 Al Sharpton Incited The Massacre At Freddy's Fashion Mart (posted Dec. 7): Nineteen years ago, December 8, 1995,  Al Sharpton incited the violent firebombing of Freddy's Fashion Mart in Harlem, causing the the deaths of Angelina Marrero . . . Cynthia Martinez . . . Luz Ramos . . . Mayra Rentas . . . Olga Garcia . . . Garnette Ramautar . . . Kareem Brunner.... names forever linked together as the seven victims of the Sharpton-caused massacre at Freddy's Fashion Mart....It all started as a rent dispute in the summer of 1995...

#2 So You Want Proof Hamas Uses Civilians As Human Shields? Here Are Ten Examples (posted July 24):  Since Israel's Operation Protective Edge began over three weeks ago, the mainstream media has been highlighting the civilian casualties in Gaza. In most cases, even if they report the Hamas use of human shields they report them as "Israeli allegations," as opposed to facts. One example is the report by NBC's Ayman Mohyeldin embedded above. So to help Mr.  Mohyeldin and those like him below are ten examples of Hamas using civilians as human shields. If these arent convincing, let me know because there are a lot more.

And the number one post of 2014..

#1 Two CNBC Alums Say Network Mgmt. Stopped Them From Telling Truth About Obamacare & Obamanomics (posted Nov. 14) During her Friday program on the "Fox Business Network," Melissa Francis made a truly scandalous revelation. "when I was at CNBC, I pointed out to my viewers that the math of Obamacare simply didn't work. Not the politics by the way; just the basic math. And when I did that, I was silenced." Francis eventually brought on Charlie Gasparino another FBN employee who used to work at CNBC who told of the time the network's anchors where called into Jeff Immelt the head of GE's office (GE owned CNBC at the time) for a discussion whether or not the network was being fair to President Obama and his economic policies.

Folks thanks again for reading..I hope you all have a great 2015!

The Palestinians Are Claiming Jesus Was A Palestinian

Posted on 15:47 by Vicky daru

This Christmas season President Abbas' Fatah Party and leaders of his Palestinian Authority government revived an old falsehood: Jesus Christ was a Palestinian. This is despite the fact that the Romans did not change the name of Judea to Syria-Palestina until after the Bar Kochba revolt in 135 CE, approximately a century after Jesus.

Most Christians will say that Jesus was born and raised a Jew. In fact the Gospel of Luke says when he was eight-days-old Jesus was circumcised into the Jewish religion and brought to the holy temple in Jerusalem to be presented to God (hey not a bad job of research for a Jewish guy).
21 And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb. 22 Now when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord 23 (as it is written in the law of the Lord, “Every male who opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”),24 and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the law of the Lord, “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”
And don't forget the first Christians considered themselves Jews.

But none of that matters to the "moderate" terrorists of Fatah and the Palestinian Authority. During the month of December, Palestinian leaders celebrated Christmas by claiming the Christian Messiah was one of their own.

Below are some examples (all the translations are from Palestinian Media Watch):

Broadcast on December 7 on the official Palestinian TV station, the District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh, Dr. Laila Ghannam, told viewers to enjoy the Christmas holiday:
We are standing here, Muslims and Christians, in Yasser Arafat Square, [named after] the symbol of our cause, to celebrate Christmas. So too we will stand united to celebrate victory, far off as it may be. Merry Christmas, let's celebrate and be merry; Jesus the Messiah is Palestinian, and we are Palestinians and will continue to hold our heads high.
A December 17 report in the official Palestinian Authority Newspaper, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, covered the Christmas tree lighting in Jericho:
Fatah Central Committee member Dr. Saeb Erekat and District Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley Majed Al-Fatiani, lit up the Christmas tree in central Jericho on Monday [Dec. 15, 2014] evening... Erekat said that several days ago, Fatah Revolutionary Council member Ziyad Abu Ein had lit up an olive tree with his pure blood, thereby joining the procession of [Palestinian] Martyrs (Shahids), and added: 'Shouldn't it be so, since the first Martyr, the first Palestinian, Jesus, peace be upon him, was from among us?
The December 21 edition of Ma'an News (an independent Palestinian Newspaper) reported:
Mahmoud Al-Habbash, the Supreme Shari'ah Judge and Mahmoud Abbas' Advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs... noted that 'We believe in our lord Jesus, peace be upon him, and in his gospel, his prophecy, and his sanctity. In keeping with his creed, we celebrate his birth day just as we do that of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, because all prophets are brothers. In addition, Christmas is also a Palestinian holiday, because Jesus, peace be upon him, was Palestinian. He was born in Palestine; lived and was sent [as prophet] to Palestine. Therefore, Christmas has a special Palestinian flavor.
The report Ma'an News  report above also appeared in Al-Hayat Al-Jadida the next day.
Even "moderate" President Abbas made the claim. He was quoted in WAFA (the Palestinian news service) December 22, saying:
We celebrate the birth of Jesus, a Palestinian messenger of love, justice and peace, which has guided millions from the moment that his message came out from a small grotto in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago. His message resonates among all of those who are seeking justice and among our people who have been the guardians of the holy sites for generations. It resonates in our prayers for our people in Gaza.
The Palestinians promote this falsehood in their effort to erase Jewish history and Jewish connection to the holy land. Their position that the propaganda above supports is that there was never a Jewish presence in the holy land. And their propaganda is given credence by the mainstream media when for example they say, “Jews claim the Temple Mount was the site of their two temples to God.” When Christian reporters even present the Palestinian claim as a possibility they’re not only denying the history, but they are denying their own faith.

NYC Cops Have Stopped Making Most Arrests-It's Too Dangerous

Posted on 07:36 by Vicky daru

This is not some job action or salary demand. The New York Post is reporting that overall NYPD arrests and traffic tickets are way down when Christmas weeks of 2013 and 2014 are compared.  The reason according to The Post,"officers feel betrayed by the mayor and fear for their safety."
The call last week from the PBA is what started it, but this has been simmering for a long time,” one source said. “This is not a slowdown for slowdown’s sake. Cops are concerned, after the reaction from City Hall on the Garner case, about de Blasio not backing them.”  The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association has warned its members to put their safety first and not make arrests “unless absolutely necessary.”
An earlier Post story spoke to individual cops about the slow down:
“I’m not writing any summonses. Do you think I’m going to stand there so someone can shoot me or hit me in the head with an ax?” One cop said Sunday, referring to the Dec. 20 slayings and another recent attack on the NYPD.

“I’m concerned about my safety,” the cop added. “I want to go to home to my wife and kids.”

An NYPD supervisor noted, “My guys are writing almost no summonses, and probably only making arrests when they have to — like when a store catches a shoplifter.”

And the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association directive for cops to respond with at least two patrol cars has resulted in a manpower shortage that’s delaying response times to non-emergencies — such as burglaries or car crashes without injuries — to as much as four hours, sources said.
Perhaps because of the slowdown, perhaps because of the cops turning their backs on him or the boos, NY Mayor De Blasio is meeting with the heads of each of the police unions on Tuesday afternoon.
Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins told The Post he’s glad de Blasio is meeting with the unions, but worries that it’s just a publicity stunt.
“I’m disappointed in the issuance of a press release announcing the meeting, which now raises concerns of sincerity,” he said.

“Is this about politics or is it about working through problems?”
The reaction to the labeling of the Michael Brown and Eric Garner incidents as racial killings, the association with perpetual cop-haters such as Al Sharpton, and other such actions such as De Blasio's speech talking about warning his son about the cops has had unexpected consequences for the President and most especially the Mayor.

While they were trying to brand the institution of police forces as laden with race issues the individual policemen, the vast majority of whom are good and fair in the execution of their duties, took offense and rightfully so.   They know their lives are in danger every time they go to work and based on recent actions, they do not believe they have the support of governmental officials.

FYI ..Tuesday Night on the Tami Jackson Show (at 10PM EST) she will be talking to Enes Smith about these and other issues related to the recent "War on Cops" by protesters and politicians. Enes is the former Tribal Police Chief for the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Indians of Oregon. Smith was also a homicide detective, Crime Scene Investigator, and a former college instructor and adjunct professor of courses including Criminology, Sociology, and Social Deviance. Knowing Tami's interview skills this will be a "must listen." To hear the show live (or to hear the podcast any after the show ends at 11PM EST) just click here!

The Top Ten Anti-Semitic/Anti-Israel Incidents of 2014

Posted on 18:25 by Vicky daru
Calling this year one of “unprecedented explosions of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel hatred,” the Simon Wiesenthal Center released its list of the top Anti-Semitic and Anti-Israel incidents in the world during the past 12 months. An eerie reminder of the hatred building across the world eighty years ago, most of the incidents described took place in European countries ranging from Belgium to Hungary. Arguably the number one organization protecting Jews against Anti-Semitism across the world, The Wiesenthal Center believes these ten examples are tragically indicative of burgeoning threats and challenges to the Jewish people not encountered since the end of WWII. Their list was good, but it only told part of the story.

The number one incident was the outrageous story of a doctor in the Belgian city of Antwerp who refused to treat a 90 year-old Jewish woman who’d broken a rib. He told the woman’s son who had called in her behalf, “Send her to Gaza for a few hours, then she will get rid of the pain. I’m not coming,” he said and hung up.

A doctor in Belgium refused medical help to a 90-year-old Jewish woman with a fractured rib, telling her son who called the medical hotline on her behalf: “Send her to Gaza for a few hours, then she will get rid of the pain. I’m not coming,” he said and hung up.

Earlier in the year, a shop in Antwerp refused to serve a woman because she was Jewish, and a café in Liège has a sign hung with the message ‘Dogs welcome, Jews not.”

The center also pointed out that Belgium was the site of the deadliest attack on a Jewish target this year, when a terrorist murdered four people during a gun attack at the Jewish Museum in Brussels in May.

Second on the list was the Jordanian Parliament, which held a moment of silence for the Palestinian who butchered four Rabbis during Shachariet prayers in a Shul in Jerusalem’s Har Nof neighborhood and also killed the Druze policeman who tried to protect them.

“I ask God to envelop them with mercy and to grant you with patience, comfort and recovery from your grief…” wrote Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour to the families of the terrorists.”

Third was one of the many Anti-Semitic incidents in France. In December, criminals forced their way into an apartment in the Paris suburb of Creteil, they tied up a young, Jewish man and woman. “Tell us where you hide the money,” one of the assailants demanded, “You Jews always have money,” as they ransacked the house and raped the 19-year-old woman.”

According to French Interior Minister Cazeneuve, it was a hate crime; he confirmed the “anti-Semitic nature (of the attack)…” adding that the criminals “Started with the idea that being Jewish means having money.”

It was a particularly violent year for Jew-hatred in France. A recent poll revealed that things have gotten so bad 74% of France's Jewish population have contemplated leaving the country to escape Anti-Semitism and to "preserve their Judaism."

Moving to Germany for the next incident, the Wiesenthal Center related the incident, which took the day after commemoration of the anniversary of Kristallnacht. The Left party invited notorious Anti-Semites and Israel-bashers, Max Blumenthal and David Sheen to present one of their “expert talks” in the Party’s meeting room in the Bundestag.
Blumenthal Jew-hatred casts Zionism as racism and he likes to paint Israel with Nazi imagery. “That was too much for top party leader Gregor Gysi who canceled the usage of the Party’s meeting room. The incident came to be known as “Toiletgate” because Gysi was forced to barricade himself in a bathroom to escape the wrath of Blumenthal and Sheen.”

Turkish columnist, Faruk Köse, published in Yeni Akit, a newspaper close to the Erdogan government, that the Turkish government levy a special tax on the country’s Jews and any Jews who do business in the country as a way to pay reparations to the people of Gaza after Operation Protective Edge. Köse also demanded as punishment for a failure to pay a Jew’s business license should be revoked and his property seized. There was no mention of the Hamas terrorism that provoked Israel to attack Gaza and eliminate the threat against her population.

Other incidents listed included the demand by the leader of the extreme right-wing Sweden Democrats, Björn Söder, that Jews must give up their Jewish identity in order to be considered full Swedes, the hanging of effigies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin by the anti-Semitic mayor of Erpatek in Hungary, and the growing support for the Anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement in U.S. academic circles, and the murder of three people at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park Kansas

Not mentioned by the SWC was the blood libel of the mainstream media during the Gaza War claiming that Israel wasn’t doing everything possible to avoid civilian casualties while ignoring Hamas’ use of human shields and President Obama’s stance that Jews were not allowed to purchase homes from Arabs in East Jerusalem, or the Anti-Semitism which runs rampant among the broadcasters at MSNBC.

The summer of 2014 saw Anti-Semitic rallies and protest across Europe and the United States, synagogues, Jewish institutions, and people were attacked in the name of supporting Hamas and the people of Gaza. Even in the Governments of Europe, the terrorist records of Anti-Israel organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood and Hezbollah were ignored, as were the incitement of hatred by the supposedly moderate Fatah and Palestinian Authority. Qatar a country charged with funding the terrorist Hamas became a more important ally to the west. Even the US government Middle East negotiator Martin Indyk was revealed to be on the payroll of the terrorist-funding Qatar. And as the year drew to a close, the Obama Administration used a willing Jew writing for The Atlantic as a tool to scapegoat the Prime Minister of the Jewish State, or as they called him “chicken sh*t.”

Sadly 2014 was a year of increasing acceptance of Jew-hatred and Israel hatred in the mainstream media, at the top levels of government across the world and in the social fabric of polite society.

This time however, it was Mitchell who made the gaffe as she implied that GOP candidate for Governor of Texas was faking his "supposed" handicap!

#19 Enough of The Silly Scapegoating, Here's The REAL Cause Of The Ferguson Violence  Nov. 26: Having spent at least seven or eight minutes tuned my thoughts upon this crucial topic and weighed each placement of blame by the politicians and pundits, I have reluctantly arrived at the conclusion that they are grossly mistaken in their rationale. The violence in Ferguson cannot be blamed on the President since there were few if any illegal immigrants involved. Politicians were too busy placing blame to accept it, Jews can't be blamed because... well...they can't be blamed for everything, and bloggers...well how can anyone believe a newsman who asked a rape victim why she didn't bite down when she was forced to give oral sex? No the entire lot of the names offered up as the cause of Ferguson violence need to be tossed out because they are all ridiculous. Being that it is so close to the Thanksgiving holiday, and most of those placing blame need to take Thursday off, I do therefore humbly offer up some scapegoat suggestions which are much superior in logic to those offered so far.

#18 It Was Obama Who Called Netanyahu 'Chickenshit' Oct. 30
: The reason the Administration isn't looking for the leaker is they know exactly where it came from, President Obama. It may not have passed from the President's mouth to Goldberg's ears but Barack Obama was the puppeteer whose strings controlled the mouth that spoke to Goldberg. Make no mistake, the Goldberg story was meant as a message to Netanyahu. The White House may have walked it back a tad, but only because the message wasn't meant for the U.S. public or the mainstream media----it was meant for Israel.

#17 The Latest Crazy Excuse From The Warming Enthusiasts---Global Warming Causes Global Cooling  Aug. 22: This sounds like things are getting a bit desperate for the folks in the global warming industry. Global Warming researchers from the United States and China on Thursday explained why the rapid global warming in the late 20th century has been slowing down over the last 15 years.  Actually it hasn't slowed down, it's stopped and as of the beginning of August it's not 15 years but the earth hasn't shown any warming for 17 years, 10 months. The researchers reported in the U.S. journal Science that the so-called global warming hiatus may be mainly due to a massive movement of heat from shallow surface waters to deep regions of the Atlantic and Southern Oceans. But wait a second, warm water doesn't sink...cold water sinks.

#16 New Oversight Committee Report On IRS Scandal Illustrates How Politics Led to The Scandal June 16:  The House Oversight Committee released a new report called "How Politics Led the IRS to Target Conservative Tax-Exempt Applicants for their Political Beliefs"  The purpose of the report is to show how political rhetoric led led to the IRS scandal.

#15 Why is April 2013 Attack on Calif. Power Substation First Being Exposed Now? Feb. 6: What if there was a terrorist attack but no one told us? What if that terrorist attack exposed the vulnerability of the entire U.S. power grid? An April 16, 2013, attack had been virtually unreported until the The Wall Street Journal reported it yesterday. It started when someone (or some ones) entered an underground vault to cut telephone cables, and then fired more than 100 shots into PG&E's Metcalf transmission substation (near San Jose) knocking out 17 transformers. Electric officials were able to avert a blackout, but it took 27 days to repair the damage. The attack was "the most significant incident of domestic terrorism involving the grid that has ever occurred" in the U.S., said Jon Wellinghoff, who was chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission at the time.

#14 Audience Boos Democrat Sen.Jeanne Shaheen For Being Rude At NH Candidate's Forum Oct. 26:  The collapse of the incumbent Sen.Jeanne Shaheen's campaign continued Sunday morning at a candidate's forum taking place at Reform Synagogue Temple Adath Yeshurun. The heavily liberal crowd (Reform Jews tend to be the most liberal skewing Jews) booed the incumbent and called her rude after she interrupted Republican Scott Brown during his concluding remarks, "She’s voting against small business 100 percent of the time. She’s got a zero rating from the National Federation of Independent Business, I received their endorsement, but not only them but from the Chamber of Commerce because—“Brown was saying when Shaheen cut him off saying: “Koch Brothers funded organization.”

#13 Leon Panetta-- ISIS Flourished Because US Left Iraq Too Soon-Involved In Syria Too Late Sept. 19:  As part of a a 60 Minutes report about ISIS this Sunday, Scott Pelley will be interviewing former Obama Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta...Obama will not be pleased.  In a preview clip released by CBS Panetta say that ISIS grew because Obama allowed the US to leave Iraq too early and didn't allow the US to get involved with helping the Syrian rebels--against the wishes of his national security force.

#12 BREAKING: Third Gruber Video About Obamacare Fooling American Voters Nov. 12:
"We just tax insurance companies they pass on higher prices that offsets the tax break we get into being the same thing. It's a very clever basic exploitation of the of the of the lack of economic understand of the American voter." Jonathan Gruber November 5, 2012 At least this time Jonathan Gruber didn't call American voters stupid. The latest video is from a November 5, 2012 speech at Rhode Island University.

#11 Is Anthony Weiner At It Again? It Looks That Way Oct. 24: “Realistically, my political career is probably over,” Weiner told Politico.com in an interview published Tuesday. “The only job I ever wanted more than Congress was mayor, and I don’t think that either of those two jobs are going to be available.” If his political career wasn't over on Tuesday, it certainly may be on Friday as a picture from an attractive woman was Favorited by the former congressman on his verified twitter account @AnthonyWeiner

Video: DeBlasio Met With Boos And Cat Calls At Police Academy Graduation

Posted on 10:24 by Vicky daru
Mayor Bill de Blasio was met with some boos and when he addressed NYPD officers graduating from the Police academy during a ceremony at Madison Square Garden Monday morning. The boos and calls were constantly in the background, never interrupting him and at most points you can hear the screams in the background, but couldn't really understand what he was saying.

Although at one point de Blasio said "you didn't create problems," and someone in the crowd shouted audibly "No, you did!" and the crowd went crazy.

As they should have the rookies didn't join in and remained stoic through out. But the problems between the NYPD and the Mayor continue...check out the video below:

NYPD Commissioner Bratton: In Hindsight We Shouldn't Have Sat Down With Al Sharpton

Posted on 08:54 by Vicky daru

An article in the latest NY Magazine, "After the Killings, Bill de Blasio and Bill Bratton Now Have the Most Critical Relationship in New York" gives an insight into the Commissioner Bratton and how he is dealing with the fight between the Mayor and NY's Finest which has come to a head with the execution style murder of two cops.

The article is revealing in many ways one of the most interesting parts is that Bratton believes their sit-down with Al Sharpton after the killing of Eric Garner was probably a mistake.
It’s late afternoon on Friday, December 19, and Police Commissioner Bill Bratton is surprisingly serene. Fourteen floors below his office at One Police Plaza protesters are massing, once again, to block the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge. They’re chanting, “Hey, ho! Racist cops have got to go!” as a smaller, pro-cop rally starts to gather directly across the street. In the waiting room outside Bratton’s office, the flat-screen TV tuned to NY1 is playing and replaying cell-phone video showing an NYPD plainclothes cop punching a suspect as he is being handcuffed. Bratton is concerned, certainly. Yet he remains visibly unruffled, reclining in a leather armchair. A puppet replica of his late great sidekick and co-strategist, the former deputy police commissioner Jack Maple, is propped on a shelf. Yes, Bratton says, in hindsight it was probably a bad idea to sit on one side of the mayor with the Reverend Al Sharpton on the other at a City Hall press conference back in July, after the death of Eric Garner. True, his first year back atop the NYPD has been stressful, particularly in the past month. Two weeks ago, on the afternoon a Staten Island grand jury announced it would not indict Officer Daniel Pantaleo, the cop who had wrapped his arm around Garner’s neck, Bratton was briefly hospitalized for dehydration.
Now that the police commissioner believes Sharpton should not have the role he has been given by anybody afraid of insulting the African American community, perhaps he convince the Mayor to reach out beyond Sharpton to real leaders of the Black community.

Bratton's statement was published the day after former Mayor Giuliani recommended the President and the Mayor disassociate from Sharpton.
He has had Al Sharpton to the White House 85 times. Often when he's talking abut police issues he has Al Sharpton sitting next to him. If we like to have poster boy for hating the police it's Al Sharpton. You make Al Sharpton a close advisor you turn the police in America against you. You're going to tell the police in America we don't understand you. I saw this man help cause riots in New York. I’ve heard his anti-police invective first hand.
The article appears in the 12/29 issue of New York Magazine and can be read by clicking here

Portland Oregon Protesters Sing 'Deck The Halls With Rows Of Dead Cops'

Posted on 19:08 by Vicky daru
Anti-Police protesters in Portland, Oregon blocked the busy intersection of 39th & Belmont and sung Christmas carol parodies that included "Deck the halls with rows of dead cops" and "Cop free Christmas", chanted "What do we want? NO COPS," these must be those peaceful protesters the news media talks about.

Readers Choice: The Top 50 Stories of 2014 #21-30

Posted on 16:39 by Vicky daru
 #21-30
As it is our tradition, the last five days of the year we post which stories you enjoyed the most, based on total traffic the top fifty posts of the year. We've already posted #41-50, and #31-40, today we reveal your choices for top posts of 2014 #21-30:

#30 NY Times "Outs" Anti-Israel U.S. Negotiator Martin Indyk As Being On Payroll of Qatar Sept. 7:  Martin S. Indyk friend of Bill and Hillary, who was hired by John Kerry to mediate between Israel and the Palestinians (even though he does not like the Jewish state) was “outed” by the New York Times on Saturday. You see Indyk has a conflict of interest working on the Middle East conflict and being vice president and director of the Foreign Policy Program at the Brookings Institute, which is getting large donations from Qatar a country known to be huge donor to terrorist groups including Hamas.

#29 Joe Scarborough FLIPS OUT : Why Do Female Columnists Protect Bill Clinton's Misogyny? May 7: Wednesday's Morning Joe program began with a discussion of the negative reaction by female columnists to Monica Lewinsky's article in Vanity Fair. Those columns led host Joe Scarborough to launch into a 6+ plus minute rant against those columnists who, just like in the 1990s, attack Lewinsky and give Bill Clinton a free pass.

#28 AP Banned Jerusalem Reporters From Interviewing Prestigious Israeli Scholar Dec 2: Former AP journalist Matti Friedman wrote an article in the Atlantic, What the Media Gets Wrong About Israel, that explains how the Associated Press enforces an anti-Israel bias. In the piece Friedman reveals that well-known Israeli scholar Dr. Gerald Steinberg, Professor at Bar Ilan University and President of NGO Monitor, is the only person the AP Jerusalem bureau has ever subjected to an interview ban. Apparently the Associated Press is doing its best to protect anti-Israel NGOs.

#27 Barack Obama Cancelled Each Border Security Program Enacted By Bush #43--Deported Fewer Than Any POTUS Since Nixon Nov. 20: This President has done more to damage the effort to control who comes in and out of the country than any other President in recent history. He canceled the effort to build a security fence, he canceled the development of promising software, which would track non-citizens who came into and out of the country, and he has deported fewer illegals than any president since Richard Nixon (yes and I will prove it). With all that in mind, tonight President Obama will go beyond his constitutional powers and announce the granting of a short-term amnesty program for anywhere from 4-6 million illegal aliens.

#26 Bill Clinton Gets Caught On Camera Trashing Netanyahu At Harkin Steak Fry Sept.15: At the end of Sunday's Tom Harkin Iowa Steak Fry Bill Clinton was recorded bashing Bibi Netanyahu, agreeing that the prime minister was “not the man” to make peace with Palestinians. At the very end of the 3 Hour 15 minute C-Span coverage, the former President had an impromptu conversation with pro-Palestinian activists. If we don’t force him to have peace, we won’t have peace … Netanyahu is not the guy,” the activist told the ex-president. I agree with that,” Bubba clearly replied, apparently unaware his remarks were being recorded. Then he bragged about getting Ehud Barack to give Arafat everything he wanted including Jerusalem.

#25 The 68 Congressional Members Who Were Briefed On Enhanced Interrogation From 2001-2007 Dec. 10: While the media coverage of the Feinstein report is talking about what the "evil CIA" may have done to some prisoners and whether or not the information extracted from those prisoners was actionable, missing is a discussion of when the congress was briefed about the techniques used. To paraphrase a line from Howard Baker during the "Watergate Hearings," America wants to know, "What did Congress know and when did they know it?" Understand the purpose of this post is not to argue which interrogation was or wasn't torture, that will be handled in a later post, the purpose of this post is to point out the hypocrisy of the Democratic Party congressional members who sat in meetings with the CIA, being briefed on enhanced interrogation, and now 9-12 years after being briefed are mendaciously claiming surprise and horror.

#24 Al Sharpton Led His First Anti-Semitic Race-Riot In Crown Heights, Twenty-Three Years Ago Today Aug. 19: Al Sharpton wasn't always an unrepentant MSNBC star, adviser to president Obama, and first-in-line to agitate a racial situation anywhere in the country. Twenty-three years ago a tragic car accident in Crown Heights Brooklyn escalated into a pogrom against the Jewish people. The media gives it a politically correct description, violence between the area's Blacks and Jews. However the violence was not two-sided. The Crown Heights riot was an attack on the Jews by the neighborhood's Caribbean community, fueled in large part by Al Sharpton, the "Reverend" who does not believe in the commandment about "bearing false witness." Below is the full story of Sharpton's first Anti-Semitic pogrom (Freddy's Fashion Mart came four years later).

#23 Obama Distances Himself From Gruber-->But Gruber's All Over Whitehouse.Gov
Nov. 17:
President Obama, trying to distance himself from Jonathan Gruber said Sunday that "The fact that an adviser who was never on our staff expressed an opinion that I completely disagree with in terms of the voters is not a reflection on the actual process that was run." If Gruber is some far away adviser not connected in any way to the administration on Obamacare why does he appear on Whitehouse.gov so often. Below are just a few examples:

#22 Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) "At Least Ten ISIS Fighters Have Been Caught Coming Across The Border In Texas" Oct. 7: Rep Duncan Hunter (R-CA) appeared on Greta Van Susteren's program Tuesday evening to discuss whether the US bombing of ISIS forces was having any effect. Instead of answering that question, Hunter kept saying the only way to protect Americans From ISIS was protection our southern border, and that ISIS fighters have already been caught at the border...actually he said it three times when Van Susteren cut him off (See video below)

#21 Hillary Clinton's Anti-Israel History June 6: An article appearing in the Jewish Daily Forward announced the formation of "Jewish Americans Ready For Hillary!" A truth those progressive Jews for Hillary ignore, with the possible exception of the time from her first campaign New York’s Senate seat in 2000 to her resignation from the Senate to become Secretary of State in January 2009, except for the time she needed New York’s Jewish voting bloc, Hillary Clinton has never been pro-Israel.

Tune in tomorrow for numbers 11-20

Giuliani: Obama Shows His Anti-Police Bias By Befriending Al Sharpton

Posted on 11:24 by Vicky daru
Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani was interviewed by Major Garrett who was guest hosting on today's "Face The Nation." Giuliani explained what he meant by his claim that President Obama is at the center of a propaganda narrative that “everybody should hate the police,” which was recently called a lie by Wapo fact checker Glenn Kessler. According to America's Mayor it is what Obama does, like associating with Al Sharpton which promotes the anti-Cop narrative, more than what he says.

Garrett began the questioning by agreeing with Kessler I cover the president every single day, I never detected anything that comes along the line of propaganda urging the country to hate police. Do you want to recast that or take that back?"

Giuliani responded.
Oh, not at all. I think you missed one very important point. To have a man who hasn’t paid $4 million in taxes, a man who spent his career helping to create riots, phony stories abut police, to have that man sitting next to you speaks volumes, actions speak louder than words. You put Al Sharpton next to you, you just told everyone I’m against the police.
Garrett tried to bring back the question of Obama's rhetoric again, but Giuliani explained:
Look, who you associate with is part of your rhetoric. If I was talking to you about ending the mafia as I did in 1980s or fighting the mafia, and I had Joe Colombo sitting next to me, you would say I was a big hypocrite wouldn’t you? It wouldn't matter what my rhetoric was. ‘Oh I’m fighting the mafia,’ but there’s Joe Columbo.

I'm for the police and there is Al Sharpton? Every cop in America is going to say give me a break; I get the point, Mr. President. His interference in the Gates affair -- The pays great attention to these so called racial incidents some of which are not racial incidents, sends representatives to funerals of people who were killed in the commission of committing a crime. And I haven't heard him make very strong comments about the deaths of Ramos and Liu. I think the "Washington Post" fact checking was substantially inaccurate they missed one big point, Al Sharpton.
The former Mayor went on to say the claims that DeBlasio had blood on his hand were wrong, and the present Mayor did not mean to inflame the cops with what he said about giving his son the warning against cops speech.

He did say that DeBlasio should apologize to the cops, and he too should get rid of Sharpton.

Regular readers of this site will know that I agree with the Mayor,  Al Sharpton is a destructive force in America who has never apologized for his hateful acts, sadly the mainstream media "loves" the guy and never calls him out for his life long assault on a unified America.

Watch the video of Giuliani's appearance below:

CNN Poll Reports Jeb Surging Ahead Of Other GOP Candidates, But There's Danger In The Issues

Posted on 10:02 by Vicky daru
Now that Jeb Bush has announce he is "exploring" a 2016 run (meaning he is running) he has surged ahead of all other possible GOP candidates in the latest CNN poll (see below). A still feeble 23% of all self described Republicans and independents support Bush, 13% support Christie and no one else reaches double digits.

Also interesting is that almost 70% believe winning the presidency is more important than a candidate being right on every issue:

But the bottom line is as of today, amongst all respondents regardless of party, Hillary would beat Jeb by a large margin (although he would do better by any other Republican. Possibly because of his recent announcement Bush has cut down an Clinton lead from 23% down to 13%

Second to Bush vs. Clinton would be Paul Ryan who is 15% behind Clinton.

Understand this is just a point in time almost two years before the next election and almost ten months before the first GOP debate scheduled for 9/15/15.  What we can learn from this is that  perhaps Jeb's support was depressed because people didn't think he was going to run. What we also learn is that most Republicans are looking to rally around a candidate who they think has a chance to win.  If Jeb follows through and runs, it would be incumbent on him to prove that he can win.  But there is danger ahead, according to the same poll, some of Bush's positions will hurt him with his own party, immigration, common core and raising taxes all make it 30-40% less likely that a Republican will support him.  Those will be the issues his GOP opponents hit him on.

In truth as pointed out earlier, the first votes are a long time away, the real revelation in this poll is that this primary season can be as contentious as 2012.

The full CNN poll is embedded below:

#40 Hamas Leader Says There Are No Human Shields So Here Are 10 MORE Examples Proving Hamas Uses Human Shields Aug. 4 :
Khaled Meshaal the leader of Hamas says his organization does not use human shields. Two weeks ago we published ten examples of Hamas using civilians as human shields. Last week we published ten more examples. Since Mr.  Meshaal still doesn't believe what his people are doing (or since he is lying) below are ten MORE examples Meshaal is lying.

#39 Attack On Paris Synagogue With Screams of 'Death To The Jews!' July 13:
With cries of "Death to the Jews," a hundred anti-Israeli Muslim youths attacked the Synagogue de la Roquette, in Paris Sunday.  French news magazine Le Monde says preliminary reports are 4 Jewish people were injured, one seriously.  French news service AFP reported the Muslim rioters surrounded the Synagogue and threw rocks into the house of worship. Large scale police forces were called to extricate the Jews.

#38 Latest Gruber Video Is The Worst One Of All For The Obama Administration Dec. 3: Of all the Jonathan Gruber videos released so far, this one could be the most damaging. This one does not show the Obamcare architect calling Americans stupid, this one has Gruber cutting the legs out of the Administration's case about to be argued before the Supreme Court. Revealed on Tuesday's Greta Van Susteren program on Fox News, the latest blockbuster has the Obamacare architect explaining if your state doesn't set up an exchange its residents aren't eligible for tax credits, which is precisely the opposite of what the Administration is arguing before the Supreme Court.

#37 Latest Climate Idiocy: Global Warming Created ISIS  Sept. 30: In recent weeks the Obama administration has blamed President Bush and/or the intelligence community for the creation of ISIS, others have blamed President Obama and his reluctance to get involved in another Middle East conflict, but apparently both positions are wrong. According to a recent article in the Huffington Post, the reason why ISIS was able to form and grow so fast was global warming (note: do not check your calendar it's September not April fools day they really believe this).

#36 The Scum Attacking Steven Sotloff As A Terrorist Sympathizer  9/4:
At a Thursday evening event at the Carnegie Council,Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey, the highest ranking military official in the United States, said that Israel went to "extraordinary lengths" to limit civilian casualties in the recent war in Gaza and that the Pentagon had sent a team to see what lessons could be learned from the operation. When asked about the General's comments during the Friday State Department news briefing, Jen Psaki displaying this Administration's continued contempt for the Jewish State said that the General was wrong that it is the opinion of the Obama administration that Israel’s efforts were not enough.
#35 Growing Campus Anti-Semitism is Ignored By School Administrators May 8:  Why do college administrations fight racism even going to the extent of filing criminal charges, but ignore anti-Semitism? That's the question asked by Tammi Rossman-Benjamin in an essay published in Accuracy in Academia on Tuesday.

"Over the last several years, Jewish students on campuses across the country have been physically, emotionally, and intellectually harassed, intimidated, threatened, and bullied, not only by their fellow students but also by some of their professors...The official response to these episodes has been silence."
#34:  Was Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) Lying on The House Floor Today Or Is She Too Stupid To Remember July 30: Every day Sheila Jackson Lee fights with people like Barbara Boxer and Hank Johnson to prove she has the lowest IQ in congress. However when she spoke out against the bill to sue Barack Obama on the house floor today and said there was never a Democratic Party attempt to impeach George W. Bush, I couldn't tell if she was lying or too stupid to remember.

#33: News Media Watchdog Calls ABC Meteorologist 'Pornographer' For Not Obsessing on Climate Change 12/19: Ginger Zee, an ABC meteorologist for Good Morning America and World News Tonight was likened to a "pornographer" by network news media watchdog/consultant Andrew Tyndall because she talks about the weather rather than obsessing about climate change

#32 Claim 97% of Climate Scientists Believe In Global Warming is TOTALLY BOGUS! May 21: We keep hearing the Global Warming is totally settled science because 97% percent of climate scientists believe that global warming is real and man-made.  There are a few things wrong with that claim.  Firstly, there is no such thing as settled science. Science is about forming a hypothesis and proving it based on the evidence. For science to be settled means that every time one tests the hypothesis you get the same result, for example, without any other influences every time you heat water up to 212 degrees it boils. Climate scientists cannot say this about global warming, for example none of their experiments to test their hypothesis predicted the almost 18 year pause in warming that continues to this day.

#31 A Dozen Facts Debunking Global Warming Obama Can't Answer (Despite The Phony China Deal) Nov. 12
: Does the President really understand what is going on with the climate or is he just promoting the hypothesis because it will result in a worldwide redistribution of income between rich and poor nations?  Either way this President is denying the climate facts.

Tomorrow's posts include more about Hillary Clinton's history, how Obama made it easier for illegals to cross the boarder and much, more as we cover your choices for top 50 posts of 2014 #21-30.

Readers Pick The Top 50 Stories of 2014 #50-41

Posted on 14:02 by Vicky daru
#50-41

I would like to thank the readers for hanging with "The Lid" for another year.  This has been the largest traffic year in The Lid's history with a little over 1.9 million page views and a little over 1.2 million individual visits. And that doesn't count the people who subscribe to the site via Facebook and the people who read the site daily via RSS feed reader.

As it is our tradition, the last five days of the year we post which stories you enjoyed the most, based on total traffic the top fifty posts of the year.  Today we present #41-50....if you click on the title you can read the entire post:

50. Laura Rozen is Distributing Document Typed/Edited By Al Jazeera As Kerry's Cease Fire Proposal: Laura Rozen a veteran Middle East Reporter with an anti-Israel slant has hit a new low. Now a reporter at al-Monitor Rozen has been spending much of her Sunday defending the State Department against Israeli claims the proposed 7-day Kerry cease-fire was so bad it could have been written by Hamas. Rozen has been arguing on Twitter that the Israelis are lying about Kerry's proposal. She specifically bases her accusations on a copy of a cease-fire plan that she was given. The document she is referring to was typed and edited by employees of al-Jazeera.

49. Yom HaShoah Visions Of Horror! When Eisenhower, Bradley and Patton Liberated Ohrdruf Concentration Camp:  On the morning of April 12th, 1945 General Eisenhower met Generals Bradley and Patton at Ohrdruf Concentration Camp. Afterwards Eisenhower also ordered every American soldier in the area who was not on the front lines to visit Ohrdruf and Buchenwald. He wanted them to see for themselves what they were fighting against. On Yom HaShoah their words are much more moving then anything I could say...

48. SCANDAL! Climate Scientists Suppressed Research Which Disagreed With Warming Theory: Global warming proponents are quick to accuse those who are skeptical of their theory as ignoring a scientific consensus. According to a front page story in the UK Times, that supposed consensus may have been built in part by suppressing research which disagrees with their global fear mongering. The article tells the story of research completed by five climate experts rejected by one of the world's top academic journals after a reviewer privately complained that the study was “harmful” to the promotion of climate change theory.

47. President Obama's Culpability For Tuesday's Synagogue Attack: On Wednesday morning in Jerusalem life began to return to some semblance of normalcy. Worshipers returned to the Kehilat Bnai Torah synagogue, which was attacked the day before because as Akiva Pollack, a paramedic who was one of the first to the terror scene on Tuesday stressed it was important to return to normal. "When I see the synagogue full, I know they are the people who believe the synagogue will not close but will be strengthened. What we need to do is come back here and pray." (...) Palestinian violence is also incited by the administration of Barack Obama, whose public criticism of Israel and desire for an ethnically pure East Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria is not only unprecedented for a President of the United States in its scope and cruelty, but it serves as nourishment for the Palestinian hatred of the Jews.

46. It Figures! Salon Blames Buffalo Lake Effect Blizzard On Global Warming For a year and a half I went to school at SUNY Oswego which among other things was known for its sunsets. Every night we would watch the sun go into Lake Ontario. Along with that beauty we had lake effect snow, and we could see it coming. Sometime we would see the snow rolling in over the lake from Canada. And when we got the snow, there would be a foot on campus and maybe only an inch of the white stuff a few miles away. That's what has been happening in Buffalo this week---to the extreme.

45. MSNBC's Toure': Rev Martin Luther King Jr. Was a Token:
Appearing on Al Sharpton's MSNBC program Friday night, guest Touré Neblett, co-host of "the Cycle" suggested that Rev Martin Luther King Jr, Lt. Col. Allen West, LL Cool J, Toure's colleague at MSNBC Michael Steele, and Senator Tim Scott and many others like them are all just tokens.  As Neblett put it,  "When you go to the RNC, there's always going to be some chocolate chips in the sea of vanilla ice cream."

44. (Don't Laugh) The New Claim is Climate Change is Going To Start an ICE AGE!: Boy oh Boy the global warming hoaxers are now claiming greenhouse gases are going to cause an Ice Age.  What makes this claim so crazy is not just that it is the opposite of how their little scam started, but the fact is that real scientist are predicting a coming ice age, not because of green house gasses but because of the Earth's normal climate cycles.
